Independent in Lake Eyre Basin

"A well equipped room considering the remoteness. The room was on the small side (27 m2) but the full kitchen was great. The bathroom was also nicely done up. "

"Had issues with no soap in room, didn’t end getting some as reception closes at 7pm, couldn’t locate staff to get some. Sliding doors in ancient shower broken, couldn’t close to have shower properly so water going outside on floor. Very old and tired room. Had issues getting parking of vehicle, ended up right outside door on walking path, blocking. Was noisy in area during early part of night due to army crews staying in adjacent rooms. Had a nice meal in dining of hotel resturant, basic bangers and mash, 15% off. Had to ask 3 times to get receipt for meal. Was humbugged by local aborigines as leaving venue. "

"Renovated bathroom was nice. Towels were small and thin. The AC blew directly on the bed which is not good for individuals with sinus issues, like us. Parking was a challenge at evening when rooms started filling up. Receptionist was very helpful with helping us determine if road closures were in place for our trip the next day. Museum was very informative. "
