Excellent Bush Stay

Good place to stay to visit the Flinders Range. The drive to the accommodation from the main road in itself is quite charming. Good cooking facilities in the cabin

Just a great station stay, nice cabin, quiet, plenty of wildlife and fluked the right time watch them shearing. Convenient location to explore the Flinders or do their own 4WD tracks.

We stayed in one of the cabins for an amazing night of star gazing….just a stunning location with everything you need for a restful and peaceful stay. We completed the Skytrek 4WD the following day and had the best time…this was truly the highlight of our holiday 😍😍😍

Loved that this place wasn’t over commercialised like the other big names in the flinders rangers. We had a lovely stay in the Governess cabin for 2 nights with our young children.

The staff are very welcoming and informative with a wealth of knowledge of the area. Although I did some research of the area I was always going to go by what the staff were going to recomend for us. Awesome station to stay on

The property is awesome for 4WD tracks. I was in a 2WD, the weather was so wet and windy that i could not really explore the walking tracks, the staff were incredible and dealt with things quickly (heating on my cabin was patchy), they are very accommodating and knowledgable. Stunning location. And plenty to do around the Ranges if the weather is inclement

I wanted show my husband an outback experience, and was happy with the ambiance of the whole place. We loved the feel of privacy and peaceful surrounds. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The kitchen equipment was a bit old and sub standard, so not so easy to cook with. We were happy that we were so close to the Flinders Ranges.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great to have in our "hut" all the cooking facilities that we needed. The hut was cold on the winter nights, but the electric-blankets felt sensational!

Worth doing Skytrek self drive 4wd track if staying there. My wife enjoyed the overseer's cottage and as per previous reviews there is WiFi but only in camp kitchen a short walk away. We felt we had a better stay there than at a caravan park cabin down the road at the Pound

Fantastic stay!

Comfortable clean cabin, camp kitchen with wifi was a great asset; meet your fellow travelers. Great access to the National Park and provided with lots of local information & maps about lookouts, tracks gorges etc. Owners were so helpful & available. Will definitely be back!

Overseers cottage had everything you needed. Checked out camp sites and were very private and well set up. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back to do the Skytrek.

A great outback experience. It was a pleasure to stay in The Stockman’s lodge -it is well-appointed inside, with magnificent deck, bbq, and outside fire as well as a combustion heater inside. Well placed for interesting hiking on the property, situated in the Flinders, as well as the opportunity to drive the Skytrak.

宿のスタッフはみんなとても親切です。 トイレの流れが少し悪かったけど、すぐに対応してくれました。スタッフ間の情報連携もパーフェクトです。 途中でパンクして、スペアタイヤで到着しましたが、車のサービス店を訪ねたら、どのタイヤサイズか確認した上でお店に連絡をしてくれて、これから行くと伝えてくれました。 Skytrek内の4WDツアーに参加しました。全ての場所がとてもきれいで、4WDでしか体験できないラフな道を楽しみました。

An unique pastoral stay, quiet, peaceful and spacious, appreciating all the gifts of remote outback living: copious bird lfe, kangaroos, emus, horses, sheep, clear rolling hills and enormous river gums in creeks and waterways. It is also great value, especially for self-catering, as there are no outstanding eateries within 60km - and then they are very limited. Owners/managers are super-attentive to needs, providing excellent written information on Wilpena Pound, Ikara National Park and all surrounding attractions, walks, lookouts, etc. As well, they are onsite to answer any questions and to guide on the idiosyncracies of this remote lanscape of South Australia, I highly recommend Willow Springs for anyone wanting to experience a deep retreat and/or a unique pastoral experience in the outback.
