Fantastic location

My friend and I met up here for a mom getaway! Perfect location to all the shops, fantastic dining and love the cleanliness of the room and hotel area. The pool and hot tub were well taken care of as well. We loved our stay!!

Wonderful property and location

Beautiful semi-private beach. Great oceanside pool area, but Hot tub only open till 10 p.m. Within walking distance of Lahaina restaurants and shops. Awesome place. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Location, walk to anywhere easily, take a swim in the pool or the ocean. Will definitely be back soon! Love the low key attitude, not busy, traffic that other areas have.

Amazing experience

The condo was beautiful with a great mountain view. Carmen is a wonderful host and provided so many amenities. The staff at the Shores were all so friendly and we met great people. The location is perfect, on the beach and walkable to so many things. Cannot wait to go back!

We couldn't have found a better place to stay. Close to shopping, restaurants, beaches and harbor. Easy access to main highway that will lead you all around Maui. Our accommodations allowed us to cook meals so we saved time and money abd didn't have to eat out as much. We will definitely come back and book with Carmen again.

We have returned to this hotel each year for four years now, but this is the first time we've rented through VRBO. It was a good experience. The room was all that we had hoped for and we think that Lahaina Shores is the best place to stay on Maui. It's so convenient to town and we could walk to most of the places we wanted to go. The room came with an inner tube, snorkel gear, a cooler and other amenities that you typically don't get when renting through the hotel. We have recommended this place to many friends and are looking forward to returning.

Beautiful with a homie feel!

The view was amazing from looking at the mountain hill side to the ocean front. The location is very close to restaurants and shopping on front street. Carmen was very helpful and nice. My husband and I were there last week during the hurricane Lane watch. Power went out in the hotel for 2 days and there was a fire on the hillside that the police had to evacuate the hotel for safety. This was all just bad timing! I’ve heard nothing like this happens in Lahaina, but Carmen was very tentative and so was the hotel in maintaining our safety.

10 day stay at Lahania Shores Beach Resort

We loved our stay at Lahania Shores. Carmen's condo was as advertised and very clean. Communication was outstanding, check in process was seamless despite arriving late in the evening. We would definitely recommend booking this condo, the view of the mountains from the large pato was breathtaking. The beach was lovely. Pack water shoes as there are stones as you wade further out. Carmen had the condo stocked with necessity including trash can bags, cutlery, plates, cups dish soap, spices, toilet paper, beach chairs, a cooler, shampoo, umbrella and a beach umbrella. The bed was soooo comfortable! Walking to the restaurants in town was easy. We rented bikes for a week from Kimo's in town which was fun. Speed limit on main roads through town was 20 mph which made the bike riding extremely safe. Get out and visit what this beautiful island has to offer.

Return visit, we love Lahina Shores!

This was our second time at the hotel, we love the semi-private beach and easy walk to Lahaina. Because of planning late we were fortunate to find a room. While an ocean view would have been nice, we really appreciated having the mountain view for the shade in the evening - the August temps (it was a family wedding destination, what can I say?) were hard on this Washington coast gal! And morning coffee and a book while watching the sun come up was great! This unit was was very clean and comfortable and the owner was very easy to work and communicate with. A big unexpected plus for me was that it is right near the stairs and the opening to the 505 Front Street shopping mall. We used the stairs a lot to help work off the extra calories we were consuming! When we left the owner had contractors coming in to redo the floors (which I thought were already fine - she's never been to my house obviously, lol!). We highly recommend this unit and any other's that Carmen Karady may own to others.

Clean, spacious and cozy.

This wss right in the heart of lahaina. Walkable to everything. You can even walk along the beach from the hotel to the harbour, which was nice. The room was clean, cozy, and what we expected. Nice and big kitchen and it was stocked with lots of odds and ends. (Neosporin, nail polish remover, bug spray, curling iron, hair dryer, spices, condiments, ice, shampoo, conditioner, soap) We would stay here again for sure. Carmen was great to work with and very responsive. Parking was an additional $3 a day, which was cheap. Only issues we had were with the property itself, not Carmen's unit. The parking garage smelled like the dump and you had to hold your breath upon entering. The halls in the hotel also smelled like old stale smoke. Being a non smoker it stands out. Once inside the room it goes away or you don't notice it as much. The beach chairs were pretty tattered and old so we had to rent chairs but that was cheap so no big deal. All in all we enjoyed our stay, will recommend to others and will most likely be back.

Overall: I would rent this property again in a second. Great price for what you get, which was A LOT. Great location. Great owner who is openminded and willing to work with you. I seriously felt like we won the lottery with this property. Read more below for specifics. This property is located within the Lahaina Shores Resort, a lovely hotel with amenities that are available to you. These amenities include a lovely pool, jacuzzi, concierge, and great staff to greet you. In addition, there is a beach just feet from the back door of the hotel, which is really only open to the hotels guests (only a couple of people out there at a time). The place itself is perfect for a Hawaiian vacation for two. Its location was in walking distance from Front Street, the downtown of Lahaina which provides access to the harbor (tours) and many stores and restaurants. Weather we wanted some shaved ice or a nice breakfast, we walked approximately 6 minutes. The property itself has a large closet, large bathroom, and a comfortable bed. We were able to cook the majority of the nights due to the provided kitchen appliances (rice cooker, pans, pots, toaster, blender). There were also come boogie boards in the closet, and some floaties prior renters left behind to play with. It was such a great property, and it added to the overall experience knowing we had a safe and homey place to return to at the end of a long day. I would strongly encourage that you book here, no regrets at all.

Great location!

While property itself is definitely dated but the proximity to Lahaina town and being on the beach is amazing. We had such a great time and something I wish I would have known in advance: make sure to bring some water socks the there a lot of rocks hiding sea urchins we saw while snorkeling not too far from the waters edge.
