"staff unhelpful, prices are outrageous in the bar and the mini bar is a rip off, the minute you arrive they take £200 off your card and charge it only returning what housekeeping deem correct, needless to say theres not really any change, wether you have had a bag of crisps and a coke or a mini bottle of vodka, id never stay here again. "Liked: 1. Spacious bedroom. 2. Great breakfast. 3. Beautiful swimming pool. Disliked: 1. View of the swimming pool from the ground floor bedrooms is blocked by a row of buses lining the swimming pool. 2. No soundproofing in the bedroom so you could hear the people in the next bedroom and corridor talking. 3. It takes too long to walk from the hotel into town so you have to spend money on cabs back snd forth."

"Nice hotel and location but the rooms are looking tired now. The property itself is really nice and looks the part. But the rooms you can tell haven’t been touched in 15-3rd 20 years. The location is ideal for Puerto Banus."

"The apartment itself was as pictured and described. We were wanting to eat in suppers and breakfasts and the full kitchen was well appointed. It was very clean.The facilities - pool (we used the indoor lap pool) and gym - were great. Note: there is an extra charge to use the gym. Overall, stay was good but you’d definitely need a car to stay here as it’s quite a hilly area and pretty far from any shops. When we checked in, there were no toiletries, hand soap, etc provided for our week-long stay and as it was a Friday the concierge wasn’t able to help (apparently they are usually provided but this got missed) so we had to drive back to the store which was about a 20-30 min round trip drive at night in an unfamiliar area. Not ideal so perhaps check what is supplied before you drive up to Aloha Hill. It’s got “Hill” in the title for a reason…we counted 94 steps to get down (and back up!) to the pool. Okay for us but if you have any mobility challenges, this resort might not be for you."
