"Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The property is set in a beautiful, picturesque location that instantly helps you relax.
The rooms were immaculately clean and well-maintained throughout our visit.
Every member of the staff was attentive, professional, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.
The swimming pools are fantastic, clean, spacious, and perfect for both relaxing and playing.
Breakfast each morning was a highlight, offering a huge choice of high quality options to suit every taste.
Most importantly, the hotel is brilliant with children. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the facilities are perfect for families."
"Nice stay at Dunes D'or with my 2 boys, Staff were all exceptional especially the Entertainment team who always got us involved. Some parts of the hotel are a bit aged and could do with bits of renewing but overall a very pleasant experience staying at the Hotel."
"This is my 5TH visit to Robinson Agadir over the past 10 years
The place is truly exceptional and meets my needs perfectly. The fact that there are very few English staying is to me a HUGE ADVANTAGE!! One of the reasons for having a holiday is for a break - this includes a break from the sound of people!!
The temperature is always about right and never too hot/sunny - as long as you realise that sometimes there is morning mist and the sun breaks through later....it is rare for it to be blue sky/sunny first thing - equally, it is rare for it not to be sunny late afternoon. The sunsets in the view from Robinson are phenomenal
I have stayed in various blocks in the hotel. I now prefer to be in ATLAS right at the top of the hotel....it is much more peaceful and the elevated views are fantastic. yes there is a walk to the hub for food/drinks/entertainment but the grounds are superb
The gardeners are always working to ensure it is beautiful. there is always something new to see and always a quiet spot if, like me, you prefer to be alone
Food choice is staggeringly good for an AI and the attention to detail and inclusion of N African dishes daily is especially appreciated
The Robinson does operate in a slightly different way from that which might be expected by some visitors - some will be surprised there is no daily bottle of water in the fridge and no toiletries...apart from a gunge pump of 'stuff' in the bathroom.
This place is truly WONDERFUL - highly recommended"
"It is our 2nd time at Amadil and it never disappoints us. It is probably the friendliest of all inclusive hotels that we have ever stayed in. Very good breakfast, there is always a different menu so we had a variety of grilled BBQ’s from lamb chops, fish, jumbo prawns, kebabs, chicken- never a repeat. Slides are the highlight of the stay, private beach is at the door step. Will book it in future again"
"Nice hotel and superfriendly staff. Breakfast was very nice and lunch was good. Dinner wasn’t really super exciting but it never really is for all inclusive. The maroccan restaurant that’s included in the hotel is a lot better than the main restaurant"
The best area to stay in Lagfifat is generally within the central part of the town, particularly near the main souk and the surrounding streets.
This central area is the heart of Lagfifat, offering a convenient base for exploring. It's a compact and walkable district where you'll find most of the local amenities and shops. The main souk, a traditional market, is a focal point, with stalls selling local crafts, spices, and fresh produce. The streets immediately surrounding the souk are often bustling during the day, providing a true sense of local life.
For couples looking for a relaxed yet culturally rich experience, staying in this central area is ideal. You'll be within easy reach of traditional Moroccan restaurants and small, independent shops where you can find unique souvenirs. The ease of access to the souk means you can enjoy leisurely strolls and discover local treasures together.
Solo travellers will also find this central location very practical. It provides straightforward access to public transport options for exploring the wider region, and the presence of numerous small eateries means you'll always have dining choices close by.
When is the best time to go to Lagfifat?
The best time to visit Lagfifat, Souss, Morocco, is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) months.
During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm without the intense heat of summer, making it ideal for exploring. You'll find comfortable daytime temperatures, typically ranging from 20°C to 28°C, great for outdoor activities like camel trekking or visiting local markets. The evenings are generally mild, so a light jacket might be useful.
Couples looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway will appreciate these shoulder seasons. The spring brings blooming landscapes and a gentle warmth, while autumn offers a similar agreeable climate after the summer rush. It's a great time for enjoying the natural beauty and local culture without the larger crowds and higher temperatures often found in peak summer.
