"The staff and the breakfast were amazing however the rooms have no shampoo (body wash is not going to do it for me), no lotion, no tissues and no phone. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel ‘but maybe not - we are quite expensive’. "

The Lake District for an wedding, hotel is clean and comfortable, bar is well stocked and they weren’t Charing rip off prices, the restaurant was very good , wide range of food available, we were joined by our daughter and 6 year old granddaughter for dinner , the staff were really accommodating with us changing time of meal … even though they seemed a bit under pressure as they had a wedding taking place …"

"A family holiday with teenagers and 2 dogs. Cottage and grounds incuding field absolutely amazing. Completely enclosed for dogs. Beautiful area with lots to do. Family went to Alton towers which was 20 minutes away. Wonderful walks to suit all abilities as not easy getting teenagers to walk too far! We all had an amazing weeks holiday, blessed by Beautiful weather. Hope to return one day. "
