"The room was spacious and clean The hotel location is excellent and the price is reasonable The bathroom needs some maintenance, especially the shower The main entrance is not so convenient when a visitor has a large suitcase, but there is another entrance from the parking"

"We had a great time at Wallace's Rest. Lynn's home is very clean, nicely decorated and equipped with everything that one needs. The strategic location is optimal for both visiting Highlands and cultural attractions (including, of course, Stirling). Our communication with Lynn was very efficient, chick-in absolutely smooth. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future!"

"This is an absolutely stunning property. The house is so quaint and spacious, with so much history. We especially enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds. Great location if you have a car. It was definitely like living in a storybook. One small warning…if you are taller than 6’2” be aware that the beds have foot rails. Great communication with the hosts and they are quick to help with anything. A really special place."

"BOOK……THIS……HOME!The location is incredible, on a working farm, with a cafe and quaint restaurant, literally steps away.The Owners are sharing their family history with travelers and the modern updates and construction they have done is comparable to the best renovation teams on TV. It is well appointed, the attention to detail is strong, the beds are comfy, and a bathroom for every bedroom allows for space, and privacy for anyone staying. Having said all that, we met three of the owners and they are wonderful. One can tell immediately that the renovation of this house (previously their grandparents home) was carefully designed and crafted to maintain the feeling of home and family, which each of them spoke to, and you could see the emotion in their eyes when they talked about the home. It is warm, it is cozy, it is incredibly welcoming, and it purposely accommodates family interaction, relaxation, story-telling, memories, and laughs…and an occasional pac-man or Dig-Dug competition!The views are awesome! Every room has a view. Outside cooking on the BBQ, enjoying a beverage, or sitting in the jacuzzi….you have 360 of the area from mountain ready to hike, to trails on the farm where we saw sheep, cows, and an occasional deer, to the Wallace Monument.But the absolute best thing I can say about this home….I shared it with the Owners…is that after a full day of sightseeing…the home feels like a warm hug.So stop looking, this IS the place you are looking for!!"

"This was a well located and appointed flat. We didn’t realize the intersection was so busy. But happy to report like others have, we had silence each night, just in time for for sleeping at night. :) the beds are comfy. Be prepared to busy some of your own spices if you plan to cook.We had really timely response and support from Fraser and Ben and their team! Recommend this property, ease of parking nearby and convenient location for all you want to see in Stirling!"
