"Chateau Castigno is located in the absolutely stunning area completely picturesque. Two good restaurants in the village of Assignan including a great breakfast.. many others within a short driving distance. The cave is an architectural gem with a thoughtful caring winemaker at the helm. Delicious!"

"Booked superior room with walk in shower,given standard complained and had another room second floor 40 stairs no lift.landing carpet threadbare in placestoilet flush ,seat broken.First day no bed made or clean towels, Second day bed made one hand & one bath towel for two people.Toilet roll ran out and replaced with half used roll.4 parking places for whole hotel.some of which were used by staff.Breakfast very limitedTables not cleaned and food not topped up always having to ask for...

"Chambre annulée sur place alors que payée. Très mauvais accueil. Surbooking pour atterrir à 2kms… un Mercure… attention de ne pas confondre Surbooking et Dol. Une fois arrivé au Mercure 4*… Télévision qui ne fonctionne pas, plus de place sur le parking à 20:30, pas de gel douche dans la SDB… pour un surclassement en 4 étoiles… c’est limite… très limite. Il faudrait penser à se poser les bonnes questions. Personnellement je ne me les pose plus concernant ces deux établissements ; a fuir, next....

"Une arrivée tardive et malgré cela nos hôtes ont été très disponibles. Ils nous ont proposé de nous installer pour dîner. Et ont disposé le couvert. La chambre est calme, la literie agréable. "

"Our experience at Demeure Flore was exceptional and one of a kind. Fracesco welcomed us warmly and made us the best meal of our trip which we enjoyed in his lovely garden nestled in the French countryside. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean and it was like finding an oasis after a few long days of travel. The only sad thing was we were only able to stay one night. We hope to return some day. "Remarkable overnight find. Friendly, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended. Only problem was I couldn't get the air to work despite a french instruction label which made sleeping a little difficle"
