We had everything we needed in the home for a relaxing stay. The host was very responsive when we couldn’t access the home. She called immediately and helped us.
The house was cozy, clean, and perfect for our needs. We made use of the kitchen and appreciated the range of cookware and utensils. My only negative comment is that the mattresses are small and uncomfortable and the bedrooms let in too much light for sleep. If the house was updated with larger, more comfortable mattresses and blackout curtains I’d give it 5 stars!
We were in the area with our dogs to explore the state parks, and this place worked out well for us. It was clean, charming, and met all our needs. The fenced backyard was a huge bonus for the pups! With the cooler temps and a nice evening breeze, we ended up spending our nights out on the front porch, and that was a perfect way to end each day.
Appreciated the pretty lights at night that came on, tv had plenty of stations to preview. Beautiful home. Beds not as comfy as we like, but nice stay all around.
The house was in a pleasant and quiet neighborhood. It was a charming old Sears model home that had been solidly updated. Easy to navigate central ac and heat, wood floors, gas oven/stove top, good lighting, ceiling fans throughout, good bathroom storage, huge closet space, comfortable furniture, easy parking right at the door, and a nice well fenced in yard, safe enough to keep small dogs in. Accommodation for dogs was well done - doggy door to the back yard, food and water bowls in kitchen, and a dog towel in the bathroom. The bathroom had everything you might need in case you forgot something, including a thermometer, hydrogen peroxide, pads and tampons, etc. It also has little bins that are part of the sink/cabinet for you to store things in. The kitchen had a lot of helpful things...basic edged baking sheets, a small non-stick pan, two sauce pans, and a pot large enough for boiling pasta or potatoes. Plus, there was cooking spray, salt and pepper, a pepper grinder, measuring spoons and cups, both a kettle and a coffee maker, as well as coffee and sugar, ice cubes already made, cutting board, knife set, wooden and plastic cooking tools, apron, square platter, service for 4, two wine glasses, 2 brandy glasses, cheese grater, wine opener, and a kitchen timer. I don't think we could have found better accommodations with a dog and kids. The place was relatively spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. I would definitely stay here again. Great host!
