"Breakfast isnt free but plenty of places to eat nearby and at the casino that you can walk to. Clean, comfortable beds walk to casino out back. Nice cool casino environment. Would stay again. Great staff "

"Very pretty hotel, nice pool and indoor/outdoor bars. Great neighborhood also. (I used to live there.) Good restaurants within walking distance. A few minor details were missed, like there was no toilet paper in my room when I arrived, and I wasn’t told the WiFi password at check-in so had to ask later. Sound carries in the hallways so it’s not always quiet but there was not late, bothersome noise. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would return."

"the parking lot was a little sketchy but it was included with the stay, so just make sure you lock your car. one of the elevators is slower and shakier than the other, so if you have anxiety about elevators falling, just know one of them may activate it. the photos make it look like it will have a city view, but in reality, you either face a brick wall with the hospital and parking garage next door or looking over into a neighborhood with some taller buildings in the back; not quite the picturesque view. beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and it wasn't super noisy. 15 minute Uber to the French Quarter. Amazon and Door Dash deliveries are very convenient and the front desk staff are very personable. would stay here again :)"

"I will always love the Pontchartrain because of its convenience, friendly atmosphere, and relative ease of use. It is also quintessentially New Orleans, with all that entails. Its charm is a bit faded, and the facility is a bit run down. Rooms are comfortable but out of date and in need of repair. Still, the Tin Roof top bar always rocks…people flock there and there’s always a party atmosphere. Kind of like the city itself. There are fancier, more expensive hotels but this one is just lovable."

"Older hotel but very well maintained with upgrades. Large room with extra sink area. Coffee and water available all day in the lobby. Nice outdoor seating area. Easy and secure parking. Housekeeping services daily! Very near trolley line."

"Great vibe. Stylish, comfortable and very clean hotel in the perfect location right across from streetcar. We appreciated the very comfortable bed, quiet atmosphere and nice little details like water filling stations and complimentary snacks and sunscreen. Would definitely stay here again."
