"Très belle maison , accueil agréable , gîte propre.Cadre sympa , belle piscine bien entretenue. Un seul petit bémol , pas de chaise confortable pour manger mais c'est majoritairement le cas dans les gîtes et quand on a un certain âge avec des soucis de dos ! Donc on s'habitue...et ce type de confort on l' oublie pour la période des vacances. A part cela , pas d hésitation pour y retourner. Merci aux propriétaires ."

"Nous avons passé une semaine formidable.Le logement était très confortable et vraiment très bien équipé, rien ne manquait.La localisation est parfaite, un vrai havre de paix en pleine nature !Nos hôtes ont été particulièrement adorables et attentifs. "This is our second time staying at Sandrine’s .The home is well equipped with everything you’ll need for a relaxing holiday in the countryside. Pool is cleaned regularly and Sandrine is always discrete and polite . Air con is a must in August .Can’t fault the stay in any way for our needs . We have three older children . The area has much to discover and a car is necessary."

"We stayed as a family of four with two children aged 10 and 12. The house is beautiful with incredible views, with probably the best view from the kitchen sink which made life easier! The pool is large and was a lovely temperature when we visited in August. The linens and towels were all of a very high quality (this is always an important factor for me ) the kitchen has everything you would need including very thoughtful touches such as Tupperware for leftovers. There is lots to do in the local area, we went kayaking and visited ‘cliff castles’ there is a great lakeside water park in Saint Chamassy and we went out for dinner is Saint Leon Sur Vezaire which is an eight minute drive. Other than that we mainly relaxed in a ye beautiful house and pool. The market on Rouffignac is well worth a visit. Highly recommend, communication with host was excellent and house only had one neighbour if you are looking for peaceful this is it."

"A stunning property in an absolutely beautiful location. The building is quirky, old and really charming and has very nice outdoor seating areas to enjoy the gorgeous views. Inside areas also stayed nice and cool in the heat. It's a lovely village with a cafe and boulangerie and we followed an interesting trail that took us around the church, old streets, a herbal garden etc. The pool was great - a really good size for the kids to practice swimming and very welcome in the heat. The location was even better than we expected - Rouffignac on our doorstep, as well as La Roque Sainte Cristophe - and other lovely villages and towns very nearby. Wish we had much longer than a week to explore! The host is extremely knowledgeable about about prehistory, of the area and in general, - absolutely fascinating and a wonderful experience! We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return."

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty, history, and authenticity of the property.Everything was impeccably maintained. The château was spotless, the kitchen was exceptional, and our private chef couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful it was to cook in such a well-equipped space. Every one of our guests loved their rooms, each with its own unique charm and character.The terrace quickly became everyone’s favorite gathering place. We spent countless hours there sharing meals, wine, laughter, and unforgettable conversations while taking in the breathtaking views of the French countryside.What makes Château Belcayre so special isn’t just its beauty, it’s the feeling of stepping into history while still enjoying every modern comfort. It was the perfect setting for our women’s retreat, and it created memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime.We can’t recommend Château Belcayre highly enough and are already dreaming of returning!"
