"This hotel is right in the towns center square, which worried me a bit when booking it but as there is not a lot of choice in Haro for hotels I booked and was very happy I did! The room we got was right over the square and hotel bar, but it was Dead quiet!, due to the triple glazed windows! Such a convenient and easy walk to the bars for dinner and of course the wineries for tastings! The train station was an experience but it all worked!"

"Fantastic location, great looking apartment. Its so close to everything, including free parking, plenty of restaurants Its right there by the central plaza, with lots of wineries close by. "An incrddible beautiful old building with great history. However it is tired and very dated, tables in lounge frayed, paint coming off bedroom doors etc. It needs refurb, The dining area is hidden behind large meter+ square plant pots, not very romantic in such a building. Dining service was aweful but food good. The receptionist guy was incredibly helpful and even went out on the street to find parking for us. We have stayed there before but will not be back …"

"Impressive looking entrance and public areas but rooms are very very basic. No bar or restaurant unless you book with a ‘separate’ business ? Pleasant staff at checkin. 10-15 minute walk in to town. We had no hot water for our whole stay and we’re only offered the use of another room just before checkout. Didn’t get breakfast because it was overcrowded and chaotic. Just one small hot water dispenser for around 100 people. Dirty cups, no free tables. Very disappointing. "

"A great hotel in a amazing quirky little town. Hotel was clean and easily accessible. Pool was nice and outdoor drink service. Parking was easy, statf pleasant and polite and helpful. Only downfall is the hotel feels a bit dated. Really needs upgrading. Its a short walk upto the town. We learnt in the second day that theres actually a elevator take you upto the town. Saves you walking up the hill. "

"Haro was one of our favorite places we visited in Spain. Fun little town with lots of energy. Great restaurants all within walking distance from the hotel. Victor was very helpful and made us dinner reservations - at great restaurants too! Room and bathroom were VERY comfortable. Best bed and pillows I have ever slept on. Great shower too! There are two negatives I will share, but they would NOT keep me from staying here. I would come back in a minute! The free parking is quite far from the hotel. We were able to drop off our luggage close by the hotel, but then the parking is down a long hill. There was supposedly paid parking under the hotel, but we did not use it. Saturday night must be party night in Haro. People were in the square and children were running around yelling until 5:00am. The rooms are quite soundproofed, but not 100%. This was the only night we heard noise. It was loud enough to wake light sleepers, like me. The other nights were totally quiet. Guess the city was having too much fun!!!"
