I had booked a queen bed none smoking and they gave us a smoking room and they came and sprayed it and you couldn’t breath. We had to open a window, but very bad service

Nothing more than I expected from Hoilday Inn
The hotel is ideal for anyone travelling south to Portugal as it is ideally placed just off the main motorway in the industrial estate area of Vitoria. Nothing glamourous. Free parking. 24 reception which helps when you don’t know what time you’re going to get there. Hotel room was basic. Bathroom door was falling off. Bath tap diffuser did fall out. As we had arrived at 3am, I wasn’t going to bother to complain. Breakfast was adequate. Flies thought so too. I’ve stayed here a few times when on my travels and I would say this time was the worst experience. Waiting to hear back from some clothes we had left behind. Our fault obviously. But no response after 36 hours.

Comfortable stay.
Stayed here on our way to the ferry in Santander. It's a very comfortable hotel, with excellent staff, a good breakfast, and free parking outside the hotel. There is a good bar/cafe/ restaurant opposite the hotel. However this is the only alternative close to the hotel, and if you want to go into Vitoria Gasteiz your either have to drive or get a taxi, €15 each way. There is a bus but it takes 40 minutes as it picks up at all the stops. I would definitely stay there again if I am just travelling through, as it is quiet and convenient, and easy to access there main roads in and out.
