Bikers and horse riders will enjoy this peaceful property with free parking for some and securised field for others. Pet are also alowed.
Part of the old barn arranged for your pleasure; Fully equiped kitchen to cook wonderful meals, a dinning room for your familly or firiendly dinners, a cheminey corner to enjoy a good book or watch pool players, a sitting room to play society games or watch a good film (even fall asleep who knows).
The pergola outside will be a perfect spot for a barbecue, a quiet breakfast or to observe the beautiful stars at night.
The swimming pool is all yours and plenty of games are available ( pétanque for youngsters and not so young, badminton, table tennis...).
We prefer to use natural energy such as sun (solar pannels for electricity exclusively) and geothermie for air conditinning all year round.
La Rena is situated outside the village witch is 18km². Lots of wonderful walks are to be experienced on foot or for the most courageous and equiped on bike! We are working on a proposition to rent some electric bikes soon!
The village and the surroundings are rich in history and offer beautifuls land scapes and views.
In the village (1 km), you'll find a small shop open in the mornig on wednesday and saturday were you can buy first necessity but also local cheeses and bread. From april to september on saturday morning you can also visit the Marché du Pali were local sheep breeders and vegetable growers will surprise you with their wonderful cheese (goat, sheep and cow) and ultra fresh vegetables. Lots of the produts are BIO but rest assured that all of them come from very near. After your shopping spree, the bar Le Moulin du Pali will be happy to quench your thirst. Should you arrive late on your first day, we suggest you order your shopping needs on Carrefour Market in Puget-Théniers the day before and we'll be more than happy to collect it for you and bring it up to the gite.
