"The husband and I have been going to this spot and others for some time when we need to get away. This place was the best and friendlier of places, until our last stay. My husband was told the next time we smoke in the room it will be a 250$ fine, we are smokers but we have never smoked in the room we have never been inside smokers. Lately our last stays the rooms weren’t the cleanest but still cleaner looking then most hotels we’ve stayed at, some left hairs on the sink the last couple times no biggie disinfected the tops prior to use anyways. The biggest downside is the lack of hot water, and it’s really the reason we go, our current residence doesn’t have a bath tub and I like my baths. The washers and dryers are usually occupied and when not they are dirty. The little things weren’t much of a bother until now that I’ve lost trust with this hotel, had I purchased the protection plan for that stay I would have cancelled the reservation after being accused of smoking in the room, it is what it is at this point but that was our last stay, I’m not chancing a 250$ charge because they think we smoked in the room, for all I know they could have been smelling my flat iron burning my hair that morning when I got ready for work. The fact they can say we smoked in there when we never have and potentially charge me for something we didn’t do is scary. Never saw that coming."

"The fact that they were painting and the windows had plastic over them and the air vents also covered in plastic. Our air in the room didn’t work and they didn’t move us. Also both nights other patrons were running up and down the hallways screaming and knocking on the room doors at 2 in the morning . Not a good experience…"

"This hotel is located right by a busy, raised highway. We stayed on the third floor and the noise level was ridiculously bad, even inside the room. It was hard to sleep at night because of the amount of noise. The hallways of the hotel are bright and clean, but the room itself, not so much. Repairs were needed and just done very sloppily and unprofessionally. The breakfast was pretty lame - a couple of types of cereal and a semi-working waffle maker was about the extent (with watered down juices). The beds were very uncomfortable."

"Hotel and breakfast staff were great. Always helpful and nice. Rooftop restaurant could have been better. The website didnt say anything about reservations but staff pushed it hard and didnt want to sit us until we stated we only wanted drinks. Lower restaurant was a little slow too. Gym was closed the whole time I was there which looked like it would have been great to use if they didnt have it closed. The wall paper was peeling in the hall way. The room was big spacious and clean."
