"The hotel offers simple amenities, a comfortable bed and is spotlessly clean. The terrace is a nice addition to sit out and enjoy the view of the lake. The AC in the room and inclusion of breakfast are also very welcome. The only downside is the smell from the shower drain, it was really overpowering. It can be mitigated by covering the drain with something but this isn’t readily provided."

"Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Room was nice, mostly clean (except for a large spattering of hair on the shower wall) and comfortable. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful and that always makes my experience somewhere extra special. Only real complaint is that I could never get anything to eat at the hotel despite its website advertising breakfast. Oh well. Not a huge deal because the hotel is a stone’s throw from plenty of places to eat. I’d definitely return here."

"What a beautiful little hotel! Comfortable beds, a great view from our balcony and an even better view from the top floor terrace. Air conditioning was very welcome. I especially appreciated Rudy Gonzalez’s friendliness. We got a refreshing cold towel when we arrived and he helped us book a fine tour to Tikal the next day."

"Paradise on earth. Loved the resort and the friendly staff. Pool could have been cleaner, but you are int he jungle. The lovely floating dock with chairs was majestic. My wife doesn't swim, so when I swam there, the staff took my wife by boat so we could be together. Loved this place. Will go back for sure!!"
