Nice place to stay in flores outside the island, colonial atmosfere facilities. If you are going to tikal or another arqueological sites is a good option.

Just a short walking distance to the isle of Flores. Easy to catch transport to go on the island or the airport that are close-by. The patio is certainly a plus!

Room was super clean, bed was comfy. Housekeeping was done daily. The housemaid even arranged my PJs on the bed as I left them on the floor which was a nice touch. Staff was really accomodating, although at night there is only one guy at the front desk. Pool was nice, it was not heated, but refreshing nonetheless. Furniture around the property are showing their age, specially in the pool and in my room at least. Rooms are air conditioned, which is nice given the heat of the area. There is a supermarket a block away with all the usual necessities. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was okay, although they open late (7am) and prices are on the pricey side for what it is (60 quetzales + tip per person). Overall I would stay again if the price is right.

Nice quiet hotel - The hotels on the island of Flores can be noisy - This is a 10-min walk from Flores - I have stayed at Hotel El Patio a number of times - Big rooms, hot showers, decent internet, indoor pool, parking

The location is great. 20 mins walk to the airport, 15-20 mins to Flores Island, plenty of food options nearby. Comfiest beds in all of South America. The only issue was a musky smell in the room, especially if you dared to open the drawers

Pictures don’t do this place justice! The courtyard area is stunning and the pool is very clean with some shaded spots to avoid direct sun exposure. There is free drinking water provided also. The beds in the rooms are incredibly luxurious and comfortable - the best we’ve had on our trip in Guatemala so far. Bathroom is very clean as well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful in answering questions. La Isla de Flores is only a 15 min walk away - and the hotel is a 3-5 min drive from the airport via tuk tuk (about 10-15 qtz per person). Cannot recommend this place enough!

A quiet, beautiful and clean place. Beds are cumfortable, there is hot water in the shower. Personal are very helpful and with smiles. To finish, swimming-pool is a perfect place when it's hot !

Astonishing first time in Tikal

we got great service from the hotel staff specially this being our first time they gave us very good recommendations as to visiting the main attractions and finding a excellent tour to go see the sunrise riding between the pyramids and see the animals and all that beautiful environment

We had an overall excellent stay at Hotel del Patio. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the amenities were top-notch. However, we encountered some challenges with early check-in. Since we traveled for a medical procedure, having early access to the room for the patient to rest would have been ideal. While we understand policies can vary, greater flexibility in this area would significantly enhance the experience for guests in similar circumstances. Despite this, our stay was pleasant, and we would gladly return.

Not great

Rooms dark and badly lit, bathrooms have only a tiny window.. The female manager is superb but the rest of the team are not aware of what a hotel should be. Drunk guest smoking by pool on phone very loudly with 8 beer cans and when I complained (no smoking signs everywhere) they just kept bringing him beer. They are kind and willing but definitely not a professional team. Breakfast isn’t great, you have to order your meal the night before. Pool is lovely, it is the only redeeming feature. Overall not a recommend.
