Charming 4 BR/2 BA Birdrock Beach House with Some Ocean View

  • Lovely kid friendly Birdrock house awaits you for you vacation. 3 blocks to the ocean, and 1 mile to beach access in both directions. Relax on the large patio where you can enjoy peak view of the ocean, barbecue or take a 2 minutes stroll to the La Jolla Blvd for a variety of restaurants, bakery, and coffee shops. No need to drive anywhere. Everything is in walking distance Our house has 4 bedrooms with 2 queen size beds, 2 full size beds. There are 3 TVs, Internet access, Wii games, X-Box, DVD and a foosball table.
    No parties are allowed as houses are very close together and this is a family neighborhood.

    Play games on the grass in the front yard which is completely fenced in, which is great for Kids and Pets, or use the large deck to catch some sun. Boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, and towels are provides for your convenience.


    Why the Owner Chose Bird Rock: My husband and I moved here 20 years ago from Sweden and England. We have lived in different locations in USA, but we found that La Jolla is one of the most beautiful places in California, and one of the best places to live.

    The Unique Benefits at this House: You will find a friendly, and easygoing neighborhood where people love the outdoors. We live in a granny house on the same property but do not share any walls or out door space. We are always available if needed.

We loved our stay at this comfortable home. It is a perfect location to enjoy restaurants and coffee shops in Bird Rock. The upper deck is perfect for coffee in the am and cocktails in the evening with a view of the ocean. We would love to stay again.

Great location, great deck

This home was perfect for our girlfriend gathering. The huge deck was a lovely place to eat and hang out. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with equipment and supplies. And the location was great--close to food, shops and the water. Highly recommend!

A Perfect Stay in La Jolla

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful La Jolla home! Prefect family home in Birdrock

We had a great stay at this birdrock home. The house was well appointed, had a great kitchn and had a great outdoor living area. We loved walking to coffee, the bakery and local shops. Would highly recommend this house to families and we look forward to a return visit another time.

Great Place for Family Gatherings

We very much enjoyed our stay in Bird Rock. This was our second time at this property and we have found it works great for family gatherings. We like that there are four separate bedrooms and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking/serving group meals. We ate most of our meals outside on the back patio which is quite large and has lots of seating. We would definitely return to this location!

Birdrock Gem

A perfect spot for our family reunion. Great location close to local coffee, bakery, restaurants and stores. The owners equipped the house with everything we could have needed along with thoughtful touches. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware, spices and other basics. Part of the Neighborhood

The house welcomed us and made us immediately feel like local residents. So many things were walkable - coffee shops, restaurants, wine store, ocean views. And when we did venture out whether to the Wildlife Safari or San Diego sites, it was a great starting off point. The kitchen was very well stocked and there is a great grill on the patio. It's a house that feels like a home thanks to terrific hosts.

Great home in Birdrock neighborhood of La Jolla

So much more than a hotel stay. We stayed a week for a family wedding. Easy drive to downtown San Diego, Pacific Beach and La Jolla Cove. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and an amazing fruit tower and bottle of wine. Just blocks from the ocean and Beautiful sunsets. Great walking neighborhood. On a sunny day the deck was a great place to eat and drink. The listing says the owners live below the deck but we would never know. We messaged when we arrived and they responded quickly to see if we needed anything. We would stay again if we are in the area

Adorable home near the water in Bird Rock area of La Jolla. We rented this home for our group of family and friends. It fit 7 of us comfortably. The terrace outside is amazing, I only wish the weather had been a little warmer during the weekend. Cozy living area with a big screen and a nice bright kitchen fully equipped
