"The location of this property is excellent and the parking is great. It is an easy walk to any place in town and a short walk to the lake front. We really enjoyed the balcony. The apartment is a great base camp for exploring the U.P. However, if the weather gives you a hard time and you have to hole up for awhile then this property may feel small, even for just 2 people. The kitchen is functional and has a good variety of cooking utensils, but isn't really big enough to cook large meals. The owner lives in this unit and there is a lot of personal decorating. This did not bother us, but it may bother some people. Overall, this was a great place to stay and served our needs perfectly."

"After an 8 hour drive, we arrived at the property fairly late on a Friday. It just so happened to be after some torrential storms, so unfortunately the entire property was without power. We didn’t have much for phone service and no WiFi either due to the power outage. The hosts have a personal number for emergency purposes only for which we were very thankful. Within a few hours, power was restored.The next morning, we went to use the sauna, but nothing would work. We were able to message the host via the app and they sent maintenance out within a few hours on a Saturday and had the problem fixed. We were very impressed by how quickly they handled all the problems, especially on a weekend. The sauna was 10/10 as were the hosts. The rest of our stay was nearly perfect. The views were absolutely breathtaking. We found it very easy to disconnect from life and just enjoy the company of each other. The property has everything you could ever need and the hosts were very accommodating. We utilized almost every part… tons of things for a family to do without screens. We used the cornhole boards, pool table, sauna… everything you could ever need for entertainment was right there.Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful property with us and our dog. It was truly unforgettable."

"This place is amazing for anyone looking to escape and unwind. The only reasons I did not give it 5 stars is the water heater downstairs needed repair and the dirt/rock road . The weather didn’t cooperate I guess it’s always windy. The boat rental place never replied so that was a bummer . The area down by the water is amazing but could use at least a charcoal grill. That is just a suggestion. We caught a lot of fish of the shore and dock. One other suggestion would be cutlery . While there is cutlery it is very dull . I used the sharpener but it didn’t help much . We greatly enjoyed our stay."
