We did not actually stay because we had sent a message to the owners requesting comung a day early and never heard back from them. So we drove by location and it looked okay. I would have to question ocean views as there was big tall shrubs directly across the street betwween the house and ocean not sure if you could see ocean maybe from second floor

We live on the property so if you drove past you could have dropped in. I assure you we have beautiful seaviews. What a pity you didn't stop by. Or modified your booking on the expedia website.

Lovely location just across road from Agulhas bay, with a good view across the shoreline. Also within easy reach of places of interest and good local restaurants. Our hosts were very welcoming (including a cuppa on arrival) and they gave us great tips on what to visit/see nearby and also for our onward trip to Capetown. Breakfast was really good and our room was nice & clean. We would be happy to stay there again and would try to book a room with a view of the bay if we could

Sheryl & Allan are the perfect hosts
The Ocean House is a lovely sea facing property around 1.5km from Agulhas. What really sets this property apart from others that we have stayed in was the welcome we received from the ever attentive Sheryl & Allan. They are genuinely nice hosts who made us feel ever so welcome throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was high quality, freshly cooked and generous and everything felt to be a nice relaxed experience. We were made to feel like family members and if we return to Agulhas in the future without doubt we would stay again at the Ocean House.

We had fabulous stay at this beautiful property next to the ocean. Sheryl and Allan are very welcoming and heart-warming hosts. Breakfast was also amazing, would definetely recommend this place.

Home away from home
Warm welcome by the owners in this beautifully decorated guesthouse. Great breakfast in the morning. Easily accessible premises on the Main road. Breathe the fresh air of the Ocean while admiring the horizon. L’Agulhas is a small but warm place despite the cool weather.

Amazing Guest House
The Ocean House at the southern tip of Africa is the most amazing place to stay. We have returned here for a second time and we love this beautiful 5 star guest house. Our hosts are wonderful and have created a paradise for their guests. We highly recommend that you stay here.

Perfect stay
This is a beautiful place to stay with first class service. The owners gave us a lovely greeting and were incredibly helpful with local knowledge. The rooms are very comfortable and we were lucky to have a sea view on the 1st floor. Breakfast was spot on. Highly recommended!

The Ocean House in my experience is one of the nicest places we have stayed in during our many travel trips. We stayed in tha Zen Room which had its own separate sitting area in addition to the main bedroom and bath. The rooms were very spacious. The owners and staff were gracious and attentive. I have no reservations about recommending this property for a stay in the Agulhas area.

Very nice place to stay. The hots are welcoming, they make our stay enjoyable. The b’fast is good and the homemade jams are spectacular. The attention to details makes us feel treated with care.

Great view of the ocean, wonderful place to stay
Very welcoming hosts, modern stylish building and rooms. Good internet and tv-I was able to watch a UEFA Champions League quarter final here. Great breakfast. Be sure to see the most southern point of Africa!

Super excellent.
We picked this accommodation from reviews on our trip to S Africa,over a three week visit we have stayed in many guesthouses, all were very good but this one excelled, Allan & Sheryl are the perfect hosts, you are made very welcome, tea offered before we got in the door,our bedroom on the ground floor was excellent, patio area with seating,bird drinker above a wall kept us entertained, beautiful birds coming to drink, bedroom spacious with a large comfortable bed. Breakfast is a treat, your table beautifully layed out, great variety of fresh fruit also fresh baked breads, verity of home made jams, made by their daughter,plus excellent hot breakfasts, this was the gem of our trip.

Perfect for couples
The place was really neat and affordable, lovely for a getaway or even if you just road tripping and stopping in the area.The breakfast was nice and it was included in the accommodation rate. The most visited spot by tourists was the Southern most tip of Africa and it was really close by.

Perfect location with amazing hosts
We arrived quite late, however the hosts wanted us to feel welcome and comfortable and gave us a room upgrade. They are absolutely amazing people and took care of us as if we were their family members. They cooked us a nice breakfast and gave us some tips on where / how to travel as we had to leave early and embark on a lengthy journey the next day. It was a pity we only stayed there for one night, but we would love to come back at some point and get to enjoy their spacious and comfy rooms, amazing views over the beach (location is very close to the southern most point in Africa) and have a laugh with the hosts. Very positive memories from our stay there!

Highly recommended
An amazing 5 star luxury guest house with stunning sea views. Our hosts were fabulous and provided an excellent breakfast. Lots of information is available about the area from them too. A must stay place if you are visiting the most southerly point in Africa. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay in cape Agulhas
Sadly we had only booked for one night in this amazing spot because we could have stayed much longer! Fabulous welcome from Alan and sheryl who provided a great introduction to the area and advice on how to make the most of our short stay. The area was great, very unspoilt yet full of amenities, we could have easily stayed for a week and will definitely visit again on our next trip to ZA.

One night stay along Garden Route
Blanking on their names, but they were very nice and welcoming. Kept a fire going upstairs (we were there end of winter). Invited us up for tea and introduced us to other guests and made good recommendations for where to eat. Very communal and inviting. Setting was modern esque and clean. Husband used to be an architect and both retired. Great breakfast with cold cuts and cheese and fresh baked bread (daughter, a culinary school graduate, does their cooking). Could see the sea from the room. Quick drive to town where we got some of the best calamari I've ever had. Quick drive in the opposite direction to the lighthouse.

Comfortable and wonderful stay
We had a fantastic stay for two nights of our honeymoon. The hosts are great; friendly and helpful. The room we had was modern, super comfortable and spacious with a great view of the beach across the road. We woke each morning to watch the sun rise from bed. Breakfast was very yummy and fuelled us for our days of sightseeing. Thanks for making a this such a wonderful stay. We will be recommending this place to family and friends who venture this way and if we ever find ourselves back in the area, this is where we'll stay.

B n B 4 main road, Agulhas
We stayed in a beautifully appointed room facing the seafront directly across the road. Parking is available and a vey warm welcome from the owners. They made us tea on arrival and booked a nearby restaurant they recommended which was also decent. The breakfast in the morning was perfect - all home made- and the bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and well designed. a perfect experience.
