Very close to Nijo Castle (7 minutes walk), 2 minutes walk to supermarket. Restaurants were fun to go to while doing a stroll around the area. Subway and bus station about 10-15 minutes walk.

The room was great, but property location is not walkable to much tourist sites other than Nijo Castle. You need to either use public transportation or uber to destination like Nishiki Market and Gion District.

The room is spacious enough for a family of four. Although the walk to the train station is quite long, there is easy access to bus stops. However, the automatic light at the front door was quite annoying at night, as it was overly sensitive to any movement.
