Totsunukicho has a long history having been named after the street called Totsunuki that ran from Kamigyo to Shimogyo when Toyotomi Hideyoshi unified Japan

At the time Shimogyo was a commercial district and a town for the common people while Kamigyo was a town lined with mansions and home to the wealthy

The first floor of our inn is designed to resemble Shimogyo with a friendly green interior and displays of artisan tools such as planes and traditional crafts creating a town of artisans The second floor is designed to resemble Kamigyo with a dark brown color scheme accented by a purple and silver screendesign bed throw evoking the image of a prestigious mansion

At this facility which recreates the history of Totsunuki you can enjoy a Japanese space with a different atmosphere while staying in a single townhouse / 2 Single Beds
