"We absolutely loved our stay at the Sheraton Tokoriki. We were blessed to meet Sera at the front desk who welcomed us like family with her smile and warm greetings. The greeting and check in were an A+!!! Coming off the boat and walking up to the property, they gave us a shell lei greeting while singing a Fijian welcome song. It really made the welcome memorable and we felt like we were home from the minute we got there. Because we bought the full meal plan, upon arrival we were able to quickly sit down and have lunch at the open air restaurant overlooking the beach. The menu was expansive and there is an option of eating at the Indian restaurant as well. We absolutely recommend getting the meal plan as there is no other place to eat on the island and it gives you options without having to worry about the prices. Our room was #130, an oceanfront room that was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfy and the furniture and decoration was very nice. The room was a bit far from the center of the hotel and the walk was a bit far but overall it was great. The property is amazing and the beach and snorkeling is out of this world. There isn't great snorkeling on the shore but if you swim out or are taken out by the staff to the reef's edge, the snorkeling is some of the best I've ever seen in the world. "We stayed at Imeris for 6 nights with our 2-year-old son, and had a really special experience. The family and community were incredibly warm and welcoming, and our little boy was absolutely adored the whole time. Just a heads up, if you’re travelling with a baby, be prepared for a lot of love, including the occasional kiss from strangers The home-cooked food was a highlight, with fresh fish served most days.For the first few nights, we had the homestay to ourselves, which felt really personal and gave us a beautiful glimpse into local life. As the week went on, more guests arrived and it gradually shifted into more of a social, backpacker-style environment, with around a dozen other international travellers, mostly from Europe. Good to check in if that’s not the vibe you’re after. We also got upgraded to a lovely house on the hill, which gave us added privacy for the family! All in all awesome stay. Thanks so much"

"What an experience. Bill and Paula and their extended family were so kind, and really made us feel welcome in their family and their village of Yamata. The accommodations were clean, the food was excellent, and Bill was great with communication leading up to our visit. Snorkeling with sharks is not to be missed, and same with the low tide beach that is walkable (between Wayasewa and Wayalevu). Read all the other reviews so you know how to prepare, and you will have an unforgettable experience. Our family won't forget our time at this homestay."
