There is no communal pool here so don't be fooled by the pictures, unless you book a villa you will not have a pool. THE WORST PART WAS I couldn't leave the hotel FOR ANOTHER because there were no other hotels on island that had any free rooms for the time I was there :( I stayed here for 3 night and during the days I was gone exploring, every night when I was back the electricity was gone at least 7 times per night for at least 3-10 minutes time spans. AND it was only gone there, because when I looked out my window, the neighborhood right outside the hotel walls were fully lite. Once it goes you cannot shower, get water in the tap, use the bathroom no air conditioning and no wifi. IT WAS AWFUL!!!! EVERYTHING IS ELECTRONIC!!!!!! Every night I slept there I woke up in a sweatbox because the aircon would not come back on when the electricity comes back and it always went when I was asleep as well. Their location is also far away from everything and not easy to and from main street or anywhere that has anything happening. AVIOD THIS PLACE!!! WORST EXPERIENCE AT A HOTEL EVER!!

I can’t say enough about the 4S Explorer. 4S service and dining (mostly) on a dive boat There are other water activities for non divers but Palau is for diving ! I’ve been diving for 30 years and this was hands down the best diving I’ve ever done. I only wish I had a few more days Already planning for the return trip. Not easy to get to Palau, but honestly, that is part of the charm and the dive sites aren’t over run with tourists
