"I cannot understand how this hotel gets a 9.0 rating. Please be aware that the Wi-Fi is terrible. You can just about download files but streaming or video calls are nearly impossible. Couple that with the fact that there was no signal on the TV for the entirety of my five-night stay, and this doesn’t spell out 4-star hotel to me. "After a few years going backwards, it seems this hotel took a new air (management) and is going back on track. The location is ideal, yet, they have to do something with the car entrance. On weekends the small street leading to the hotel is used as a parking lot for the theater beside and the cable car facility. Thus, it's a battle to go in or out (taxis needed to get us down one block away). "

good position, old but posh internally
"cheap airport transfer using “YandexGO” app (airport wifi useless so ensure you’ve access to international data or buy local SIM to use - cost gbp 6 for 30+ minutes journey). hotel is significantly updated soviet era tower unlike headline promotion photo on website but smart & posh internally with lots of adjacent restaurants (up huge external staircase- no obvious lift & no connection from lobby). quick efficient friendly check in, clerk a mine of useful local transport info (bus 12 from stop opposite takes 25 minutes to reach ski lift and resort with snow in April for gbp 40pence). lots of good lifts in hotel, room old but fine- breakfast very good "
