Disappointing

This hotel has good points and bad points. For the price, we would expect more good points! The room was nice but the bathroom needed some tlc. It seems that there is no love or passion at this hotel to provide a good service. The breakfast was pretty awful! They had no milk for tea, coffee or cereal but offered condensed milk for the cereal! As they had no milk, the pancakes were off the menu and the scambled eggs were really dry! The staff didn't really care at all that they weren't providing any kind of breakfast. The location is a massive plus, particularly if you want to go to Eden and Peace and Love.

very quite and isolated

if you are looking for peace and quite far away from everything pariya is the place for you, getting there and back costs 600 baht per person (300 each way in taxi boat) so make sure you calculate it into your budget.

Difficult to get to but happy once you get there

Best hotel on one of the best beaches in Koh Phangan. Hard to get to and very remote. Prime location and big villa rooms (that you don't spend too much time in) are the only great things about this hotel. Breakfast and service were ok, certainly not great.

Gut mit kleinen Mängeln

Die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich sehr freundlich und bemüht, nur leider können sie nicht immer weiterhelfen. Beispielsweise liegen im Hotel Flyer für Touren aus, die aber nicht über das Hotel gebucht werden können. Das Resort ist sehr schön gestaltet, der Strand ist traumhaft. Für einen Aufenthalt, den man abgeschottet im Resort verbringen möchte, ist es perfekt. Sobald man aber die restliche Insel erkunden möchte, wird es schwierig. Die Bucht ist nur mit dem Taxiboot zu erreichen, welches für Thailand ziemlich teuer ist. Zudem fährt es nicht, wenn die Wellen zu hoch sind (was in den zwei Tagen eindeutig zu oft der Fall war) und ab Einbruch der Dunkelheit ebenfalls nicht mehr (obwohl man uns im Hotel gesagt hatte, dass es die ganze Nacht fahren würde). Somit mussten wir leider eine Nacht in einem Hostel auf der anderen Seite verbringen, obwohl unser Hotel schon bezahlt war. (Im Endeffekt war das Hostel günstiger als das Taxiboot). Dies hat unseren Aufenthalt trotzdem ziemlich getrübt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und groß, nur die Dusche hatte leider nur tröpfchenweise Wasser zu bieten, aber wir konnten auf die Badewanne ausweichen. Das Frühstück ist angemessen und frisch, jedoch auch nicht das Beste für den Preis. Generell finde ich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis etwas zu hoch, eher etwas für gut betuchte, die sich nicht um Preise kümmern müssen.

Close to Eden (a local bar), but not paradise

My partner had a yoga retreat (Blooming Lotus Yoga) nearby, and this is definitely the best hotel around. However, the area is very remote, and with that comes benefits (not many people, quiet laid back atmosphere), but also some liabilities. First, the best way to get there is by longboat from Haad Rin...and depending on the weather, that can be an exciting ride. In fact, both of us had to leave by 4 wheel drive (at $60 per pickup truck) because the waves were too big for the boats. There are not many good places to eat, so you get tired of eating at the same one (the Bamboo) again and again. The Pariya property is a bit aged, but reasonably well maintained. Small beach, made smaller by all of the boats parked on it. I think good for several days, but I would have been bored if we had stayed there a week.

За три года пять раз посещала этот отель! Очень нравится уют, атмосфера, экологичность ! Отзывчивый персонал, удобные виллы, вкусная еда по доступным ценам. Все необходимое для отдыха есть. Минус только один, отель не новый, сантехника иногда ломается и хотелось бы обновлённых постельных принадлежностей !

C'est notre 2eme séjour en 1 an au Pariya et toujours aussi bien. La plage de Haad Yuan est sublime, une si ce n'est la plus belle plage de koh Phangan.

Perfekt

Vi havde booket for 3 dage men forlængede 5 dage mere. Bungalowen var kæmpestor og indeholdte alt hvad vi skulle bruge og var hyggelig indrettet. Daglig rengøring og opvask af kopper og glas samt rent sengetøj og håndklæder. Vi boede tæt på stranden og pool så ikke så mange trapper. Absolut et af de bedste resorts på den side af øen. Personalet var lidt anonyme men alt blev ordnet og alt i alt et rigtig fint sted. Morgenmaden er dog lidt trist og vi bestilte nogle forårsruller i baren som var overstegte og fyldt med olie. Den bedste restaurant er bamboo som ligger 5 minutters gang derfra. Man kan købe internet og det virker fint men er lidt dyrt. Denne side af øen er mere stille og skal man fra en strand til en anden skal man over en del trapper og bjergside hvilket ikke er for sarte sjæle. For at komme til dette resort skal man med longtailboat og der skal forhandles om prisen ( ca 300 bath pr. pers.)som afhænger af vejret. Det kan anbefales at medbringe myggespray og solcreme fra den anden side da denne slags varer kan købes men til ca dobbelt pris. Vi vidste hvad vi skulle over til så vi var godt forberedte og vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage.

a wonderful place to stay with our baby

We spent 9 nights in this specious lovely hotel, with our 2 years old baby, and had a wonderful time! The stuff was friendly, the beach is isolated enough to have a wonderful quite vacation, the room was beautiful and specious and so is the whole hotel. The only problem we had was with the internet, which was only at the reception area (not in the room, as promised) and very weak. We want to thank especially, to Mr. Tong, for making our arrival so easy, responding quickly and kindly to all our requests, before arriving, and during our stay.

Haad Yuan makes anything great. So overpriced!!!

Hotel is better than average. Being in a jungle type environment and the rooms not being closed off to the smaller variety of wildlife....Bugs, spiders, gekkos. It's a lovely hotel but is NOT 4 stars and is NOT worth the money they charge. I only stayed because of an Expedia discount. To stay further nights while I was there tripled the cost.....The reduced rate was already pricey by comparison to anything else on the beach.

Lovely location, terrible service!

Firstly our room was lovely. Haad Yuan is more hut accommodation so it was nice to get a room with a/c and comfy beds (though the pillows were shockly bad!) The room was nice and clean and serviced daily as one would expect for the rate. Everything else went downhill after we saw our room though. Don't ask for or expect anything from reception! The baby pool was dirty two days in a row, with things (plastic and leaves) floating around on top of it. I asked at reception for someone to come out with a net and give it a quick clean but even though three people were standing around at reception there was nobody that could help!! I was told it was only cleaned in the morning which is just ridiculous when it is obviously dirty. Service at the pool is very slow, we were waiting over 30 minutes for two drinks! My brother came to visit one afternoon and the staff hassled him for being there as he wasn't a resident and wanted him to pay 200 baht to sit with us at the pool. Completely ridiculous as we were staying there a full week. So embarrassing. There is also no wifi available at the rooms, it's only at reception and it's sooooo slow. The breakfast isn't great. Much nicer, fresher and cheaper is available in the neighbouring restaurant, big blue, where service is far better too!

Beautiful island resort let down by service

We loved staying here and might do again but only as it's the only place with a pool! The service was not very good. We asked for the baby pool to be cleaned two days in a row as there was plastic and leaves floating on top of it. The response was that it was cleaned only in the morning. There were three people hanging around reception and not none of them could help sort the problem. Not good! Pool service is shockingly slow too, you can wait over 30 minutes for 2 drinks. The breakfast isn't great, I would recommend getting a room without breakfast and going next door to the restaurant Big Blue for a far better, tastier and cheaper breakfast. The room itself was wonderfully clean and we were very happy with the spacious layout and nice decor. The sunken bath was a delight, my very tall husband could actually lie down for once! Overall the place was lovely just don't expect top class service!

A choisir pr 2/3 nuits l histoire d être dans un endroit paradisiaque peu frequenté mais qui reste seulement desservis par les taxis boats ou 4x4 qui empochent aisément la course ce qui laisse un goût d amertume.
