The hotel had great charm and was in a fantastic location. The room was a little run down and not as clean as I’d like. The mattress was unfortunately quite uncomfortable. But over all the stay was pleasant.

Unique boutique hotel in market square area of Knoxville. Clean, spacious, luxurious feel. Art deco style decor. Very happy with the choice to stay here.

Hotel was great. Bed was horrible. And I’m not usually super picky. I actually looked at the mattress to make sure it wasn’t a waterbed. We sink to the middle and I woke up with a sore neck. Otherwise we loved the hotel.

Great hotel room with an easy and quick check in and check out process. Valet was incredibly nice and helpful with info about the area and when to visit next. The bar and restaurant in the hotel are fantastic and a must stop for all guests. Definitely will be visiting again!

Top notch place
We love the Oliver. Really comfortable beds in nice rooms. It’s a fantastic place to stay and has the coolest speakeasy bar I’ve ever been to plus a world class restaurant. And it’s in the chic market square area downtown that puts you in walking distance to tons of cool things to do.

Bliss in Knoxville
This is a magical hotel. From the moment we pulled up we were greeted and offered champagne! The hotel is beautifully decorated, the food and bar are a delight and the beds are SOOOO comfortable.

The bed was so worn that my wife and I fell to the middle of the bed. We didn't get any sleep at all. We complained at check out and the staff could care less and brushed off our complaint as if he had heard it multiple times in the past. This is a clear message that the hotel does not take any customer feedback to heart. For the $300 cost of one night stay, this was completely unsatisfactory.

I really enjoyed The Oliver! My kind of hotel, charming and elegant. I loved the Art Deco details and our room was pretty. It does have a bit of an “older” vibe but seems like it is maintained well. Staff is cordial and personable. We had a wonderful time at the speakeasy, the Peter Kern Library. My mouth waters as I remember the delicious, unique taste profile of my cocktail- I had the Rick Deckard. Wow! Amazingly different, I loved it. Rates seemed a tad pricey during our stay but still at an amount that I was willing to consider as a slight splurge over what we might typically spend. I’m happy with our choice and we had a great time!

Chris at check-in was very friendly and helpful. Loved that we were greeted with our choice beverage, and the candy jars on each floor. Would have loved for the windows to open even just a few inches.
