Middle level: Bedroom (queen) with private deck access shares a full bath with Bedroom (2 twins & pyramid bunk) with dedicated TV/DVD that can be used for videos & games; Bedroom (queen) with ocean and sound views and Bedroom (2 twins) with TV share a full bath with double sink. All 4 bedrooms have ocean or sound views.

Bottom Level: Master bedroom (king) with a flat-screen TV with HDMI, DVD and ocean views and deck access, master bathroom has jet tub, shower, and double sink areas; great room with 55" flat-screen TV, Blu-Ray DVD, VCR, video library and games, deck access, and ocean and sound views; dining area with ocean and sound views and deck access, kitchen with ocean view, breakfast bar, and deck access; half bath. What's nearby

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Exactly what we needed

The perfect little get away. The pool was nice and warm and the beach was a very short and easy walk. The house had everything we needed and was in close driving distance of the wild horses. We spent a good amount of time right in Duck and it was fun for the whole family.

Loved every minute of our family vacation! The rental agency was great to work with! They made sure we had everything we needed, the pool was immaculate, and the house was clean and provided everything. It was a 3 minute walk to the beach which was not too crowded and very clean. Very nice house! Great views of the ocean and sound! We enjoyed the pool and appreciated the covered area. The house was just a short walk from the beach access. Got some cool shells down by the pier around low tide. Thanks for the credit for the bikes! We enjoyed our week and definitely stay here again.

Great stay, Reliable help

We loved our stay in Duck! The home was clean and perfectly stocked for our needs. We also had an issue where the line to the Dish had been damaged and our TV wasn't working at check in. I emailed maintenance after hours and they had someone out from maintenance and then the Dish company the very next morning. Thanks for a great stay!

Great week!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. There was plenty of room for our two families. We loved the pool and hot tub and we used them often! The views from the top floor were amazing and the walk to the beach was quick. (It would have been helpful to have a "starter" welcome kit of paper products/dish detergent/soap/etc. - so remember to bring those supplies.)

Duck duck views

Clean, plenty of room, great views, great neighborhood, pool & hot tub were great also. Downhill walk to the beach so a little challenging of a walk back to the house for any elderly guests. We brought beach chairs but there were plenty of them, boogie boards and pool toys at the house. We had to make our own beds upon arrival, which we've never had to do before! Quick drive or bike ride into town. Had a great time!

Great week!!!

We had a great stay at Duck Duck View! The name is accurate, from the top level, the views are absolutely amazing! The layout of the house worked perfect for us as we had kids ages 2-13, two families and grandparents. The pool, hot tub and cabana were enjoyed by all and the beach only about a 5-minute walk. Our only recommendation would be to have the basketball ball hoop repaired as it is really leaning. We had five avid players in our group that were disappointed in its condition and had planned some real playing time while there. Others than that, will plan to stay here again in the future.

There were a few issues noted upon arrival that were addressed within minutes. I was actually surprised when a maintenance person showed up while we were still unpacking. Two additional issues were quickly addressed as well. The house itself was perfect for our family and had everything we needed.The children in the family especially enjoyed the pool, movies and games that were available. The living room furniture was very comfortable, which has not always been my experience in a beach rental and the sitting room was a bonus. The large dining table was just right for our family although it could use some new seat covers there were tears and holes in most covers. One of the queen bed frames and mattress was ready to be replaced,all the other beds were fine. I would recommend Shoreline and this house.

June Vacation

The midges in the house the first couple days were rough. More than likely from the doors being left open from the cleaning crew. We werent able to enjoy the decks as the wooded area next to the house was infested with them as well as the carport. At night the hot tub and gazebo was tough to use with the lights on until we got some bug off candles. Dish washer went out so the last 2 days we hand washed. Overall though those are trivial things that on a different week i wouldn't expect. With a 2 minute walk to the sound and a 2 minute walk to the beach it was a perfect location. Plan to not go anywhere on a saturday as traffic is a mess. We would certianly rent again as there was enough space for everyone.

OBX Family Vacation

We had a fantastic vacation. There were 12 of us including 2 children. Home was beautiful! Huge windows all around the main living areas, lots of deck space and the pool was perfect! Cabana at the pool was great for those that didn't want to be in the sun and for our 7 month old grandson. The cabana had lights and a fan. Beds were comfy (even the twins). Beach was a very short walk down the road. Everything was very clean at arrival and we received a text that that house was available earlier than expected. We had to call for maintenance one time due to a tv in one of the twins that kept going in and out and they came the same day. We would definitely rent this home again. Views were like no other especially with this house not being oceanfront. You could see the ocean and sound from just about every room in the home. Any complaints we had were minor and things that would happen at my own home so not worth mentioning. Thanks to Shoreline Realty and to the owners of this lovely home. One of the best vacations we've ever had!

Duck Duck Views is a wonderful home for families with small children. It was well stocked with toys, books and kitchen supplies. It is a short walk to the beach and near Duck shopping. Great stay at Duck, Duck Views

This is the second time we've rented this property. We had a great time at this wonderful five bedroom home in Duck, North Carolina. Incredible 365 degrees views of both the ocean and the bay. It is a short half of a block walk to the ocean access. The property has a wonderful pool and pool area to enjoy after a day on the beach and a pool table/rec room on the lower level for indoor fun.

Beautiful views and beach

All I can say is Wow! First time in outer banks area. Usually we vacation in hilton head, but the views and setup of home was perfect for our extended family. Lots to do. Beach, restaurants, and heated pool made our stay super easy with kids. This house is in our top 3 places and we would stay again when in Duck or outer banks area.
