"Nice location in Duck for the beach and visiting the city but mr. Nor'eastern was at the beach this weekend, heavy wind with rain blowing sideways. It help showed that a few house maintenance is needed. Replacing front door with seal strip is a must. Had to put up towels to keep the heavy wind out. Loved that all the lights outlets were labeled for you and the bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything needed to cook some bean soup and cornbread. We'll definitely stay again "

"Property is right on the beach in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. It was close enough for a quick 10min drive to the tourist shops and restaurants, but far enough away that we could also relax at the house and miss them completely.We enjoyed the huge open living space with the kitchen, living room, and dining area all tied together overlooking the ocean. Everything was clean and in good working order. Our stay was on the shoulder season in September and we got lucky and hit perfect weather. There were only a couple people on the beach during our morning sunrise walks which made it feel like we had the whole area to ourselves.Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us!"

"The views of the beach from almost every room were magnificent! The house was spotless, the beds comfortable, the hot tub overlooking the ocean was perfect, loved the pool too! So roomy and pretty, decor was lovely. We were in OBX For my daughter’s wedding and everything was absolutely perfect. Would stay here again in a heartbeat "

"We had a great sunset view from our quiet, comfortable room--with great coffee and tea service, mini fridge, nice shower. Easy walk to the beach with chairs and umbrella waiting...even at 7am! Good restaurants close by and Spa across the street. Great karma, decor, and staff! We will be back. "
