"The staff are friendly and helpful but the hotel could do with some TLC. Last stayed in a lovely quirky room, latest stay was disappointing as the bathroom was in need of a refurbishment. Rooms are clean and comfortable just a little tired looking."

"We found this hotel to be very well ran, Clean very 5 star. Great well trained staff, don't take room service this was very poor. The room was perfect with every amenity. Cleaning on request, very comfortable VERY WHEELCHAIR UNFRIENDLY STEPS AT EVERY TURN, NO RAMPS OF ANY KIND. WE HAD TO ENTER BY THE BACK DOOR. THIS WAS VERY Disappointing."

"The room was clean enough but the shower room had streaks down the paint and signs of mildew. There was some discarded cigarettes by our bedroom door that a previous occupant must have left but housekeeping never removed them before or during our stay. Food in the restaurant was decent but the service was slow and we had to ask several times over for jugs of water to be brought to our table, too. Considering the hotel was completely refurbished just a couple of years ago, it was a disappointment. We won't be revisiting, sadly."
