The place is small with 7 bungalows balinese style, needs some upgrades to be a bit more into 2025, the outlets are loose so the plugs won’t stay plugged, wifi is now i’m here now i’m gone, love the quitness of the place, the pool has warm water from the hit springs so it’s very relaxing to plunge into it, showers are a buy rudimental but also has warm water from the hot springs, the road to get there is a bit rough but all together the place is very nice, the guy in charge is super great speaks very good English and very helpful, just a little note to close this review Kintamani lake side is infested by flies if you don’t mind these flying devils is definitely a place to visit, the real Bali is up there hiding between mountains.
I absolutely loved my 3 days and 3 nights here, nestled between mountains and a lake, and the vegetable fields of the locals. Fish are caught and served if you choose to eat here, served with Kintamani sauce, to die for. You state a pool, but it's actually a natural fed hot spring. Wonderful! The hosts are all wonderful, accommodating and friendly.
I needed an escape from the humidity of Ubud, and found it. This place is a little oasis nestled between the mountains and a lake. I thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs (pool) and the company of guests and management. I didn't need to leave my oasis, they also served delicious food. You have to try the fish with Kitamani sauce. 3 days of bliss.
Not sure where to start… So I’ll start from the beginning.
- Could not find the place, so tried to call them, with no answer.
- The room was absolutely not worth the money, and the toilet looked like a free public bathroom at a trainstation.
- When we went for dinner we had to wait for more than an hour for a could pile of rice and a chickenleg that was clearly pre-prepared. Probably during the day. Stuff you would expect at a gas station.
- there were no cold beverages available.
- The shower only had FREEZING cold water.
- The tap in the sink was not working
- the light in the room stopped working halfway through the stay and the staff had no intention of fixing it.
- when asking for extra toilet paper, the response was “that will take a while”. 45 mins later, the staff arrived with the toilet paper.
- As the cherry on top, in the evening before our trip to Mount Batur which started at 3 am. We were woken up, and kept awake, by a mouse crawling around in the bed. Which meant no sleep at all before our 5 hr hicking trip to see the sunrise.
In summary, not worth the money… infact, I would not stay here if they paid me.
Expecting a full refund… HORRENDOUS AND UNEXCEPTABLE!
