"We had asked for a roll away bed and it was not in the room. Clerk said it had to be on the reservation form and it was but she said it wasn’t. I said I picked a room that slept 5 to which she said none of our rooms sleep five. I said you might want to correct that on Expedia. She said Expedia never gets any thing right."

"Had a great 5 days in the mountains. Emphasis, "in the mountains". Fair warning, the drive up Screamer Mountain is not for the faint of heart. Think narrow twisting roads with no guard rails. But the house and property is excellent. They have everything you need for comfort, tv's, wi-fi, dog bowls, washer/dryer, etc. We hung out there a lot because our daughter was working in Camp Blue Ridge, just north of Clayton and she would stop by for a hot shower and a quick nap! The host was very accessible, even warning us about a baby bear sighting the week before we arrived. (Never saw a bear, lots of rabbits, though) We visited downtown Clayton, Talulah Gorge, Franklin, NC (just a half hour north), and family in Maggie Valley, NC (90 minutes northeast). Also, for the adventurous, thee are literally mountain trails leading off the property. Can't recommend this house enough! Would look to stay here again if we ever make it back this way."

"The condo was above and beyond our expectations. We come to Clayton several times a year and decided to stay somewhere different it did not disappoint. Everything ran smoothly from the booking to the checking in. The condo was beautiful and clean. The view was amazing. It was very quiet and peaceful. We hiked and golfed a lot and definitely relaxed and enjoyed the peace and tranquility with a glass of wine on the balcony. Cannot wait to come back again!!!!"
