  • Settle into this romantic bolthole with your other half and two four-legged friends for a fabulous seaside holiday! Located in the small village of Southgate, on the edge of the North Norfolk Coast Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty, you'll be perfectly placed to enjoy the nearby countryside and coast. Enjoy relaxing evenings in the bright and elegant open-plan living area of this property with a characterful wooden beamed ceiling after a day of exploring the nearby scenic walking trails, sandy beaches and historic towns.


    This spacious retreat offers an entrance hall that leads through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen diner with a high ceiling and dual-aspect windows, making this a cheerful space to relax. At the far end of the room is the contemporary galley-style kitchen with patterned tiling where the chef of your party can be kept company. Next to this is a plush velvet sofa where you can snuggle up in front of a movie or why not light a candle and dine at the table and chairs. Also on the ground floor is a handy shower room with a large walk-in shower. Climb the stairs to reach the first floor which is an open space with a fabulous super-king-size bed and a Smart TV for early nights or lazy lie-ins, plus another small sofa. Outside is a fully enclosed garden with a lawn, decked area, furniture and a BBQ. The property has driveway parking for two cars and an EV charging point.


    The village itself is popular with locals and holidaymakers, offering a range of amenities including a supermarket, a chemist and a variety of places to eat from fish and chip shops to local pubs and restaurants which offer some delicious food. The award-winning Rose & Crown and The Old Bank to name but two! The neighbouring village of Heacham has a lovely farm shop at Norfolk Lavender where in summer you can enjoy the scented aroma of the lavender fields. Ornithologists are spoilt for choice with two RSPB Centres to visit close by, a little further around the coast at Cley-next-the-Sea is known as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with coastal paths and salt marshes to explore along with an abundance of birdlife and a grey seal colony.
