"My two adult daughters and I recently needed to spend one night in this area of Somerset. The Old Manor House is conveniently situated for easy access to all areas around Axbridge, Weston-super-Mare and Burnham on Sea and is reasonably priced. It provided us with a large and very comfortable family room, with plenty of space, the usual coffee/tea facilities, a mini fridge - with fresh milk available from the downstairs lobby - and a lovely en suite shower room. Downstairs, we did not use the sitting room but a seating area provided somewhere to relax and enjoy a coffee/tea/chocolate drink from the coffee machine, whilst the breakfast room was fantastically resourced. A dresser at one end held a toaster, homemade bread and a selection of jams that were also all made on site, cereals already portioned into separate jars, yoghurts, fruit juices in individual small bottles, all clearly displayed for a self-service Continental breakfast, whilst a cooked meal was also available. Something for everyone! The house itself is full of character and tastefully decorated, and mine host, Graham, could not have been more willing and helpful to ensure we had the best possible experience of his establishment. We left feeling we'd had an exceptional experience which we'd be happy to recommend to anyone."

"Stayed one night prior to an early morning flight. Clean comfortable accommodation with ample parking. The restaurant provide a wide range of well presented food choices at reasonable prices. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful. This is the first time we have used the Sidcot Arms for a pre flight overnight stay and we certainly intend to use it again. The corridors are also well carpeted, thereby minimising noise from arriving and departing guests"

"Property was lovely for the weekend break with my family. Plenty of room and layout was good in the main lounge area and in the patio. The only thing I. would say is that it was very warm and would have been nice to have aircon . The ceiling fan was good when sitting underneath it but other areas remained very warm"

"Our owners had a few problems with the lodge which were eventually were resolved except for the dishwasher which they said just need salt and blue rinse but coming up with same error E4. TV hdmi input had been pushed in by previous users so unable to plug in fire stick, said they had no other TV's to replace it with.There were two free dogs toys in the lodge for us to play with.And were supplied with towels for the humans.The park and club house is dog friendly apart from two dining areas with plenty of dog walks. We had a lovely walks in the woods and to cheddar reservoir and axbridge (nice dog friendly pubs), you can also walk to cheddar gorge via the strawberry line.The humans went for a nice swim in the pool. And took us to Brean to the dog friendly beach. We enjoyed Cheddar gorge caves as they are dog friendly but wookey hole caves are not. Would woofld stay here again. Paddy(Springer spaniel) & Kenny (Cocker Spaniel)"
