"This is a great hotel for a stay in central Blackburn. We were here for the festival of making which was on our doorstep. The bed was very comfy with good linen, great shower and overall had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were exceptionally helpful

"The staff were very helpful, the food was excellent. The condition of the premises was a bit tired but clean and tidy. The food was delicious and there was lots of choices to suit every taste bud."
"I have already text you regarding our stay it was not a hotel it was a air bed. There not enough room to swing a cat. There was only 1 towel and one beaker and no toilet roll. The outside stairs to the were dangerous. We only stayed one night as my husband nearly fell twice trying to go to the toilet. We need you to contact us so we can complain. We would like a refund for at least one night. If not both. This definitely is not a Hotel. The outside stairs were not safe the handrails were...
"The room and the grounds were excellent. Evening meal, although the menu was basic and limited, the food was good. Breakfast was chaotic, just given a couple of menus and told to find a table. Shortage of breakfast items with staff not replenishing them. Had to get a chair for my table.
Check out was worse, six people waiting to check out with only one member of staff at the desk who was on the phone for over 5 minutes while people were waiting to settle their bills. Lack of staff and staff...
"The house is nothing special but the bed was comfortable to sleep in and it was in the location we needed to visit family. The kitchen smelled like something was rotting, I think the bins hadn't been disposed of properly before we arrived. There also weren't any towels even though the advert says there will be. It's an okay place to stay as long as you're not expecting luxury."

"I recently travelled to Preston to attend my master’s degree graduation ceremony with my daughters . We spent one night in an apartment somewhere in Preston. This apartment was booked on another platform. We left earlier than scheduled, because we didn’t like the place . Fortunately.i visited Hotel.com in our desperation to leave the apartment due to its filthy state ,and thank God that there was an available room at Hampton by Hilton .
It was indeed a great experience! Marcella’s hospitality was top notch . She made us feel at home . She ensured that we were we happy during our stay Another staff called Fatima was extremely pleasant and hospitable. She was happy to help whenever we needed it. However, a particular female staff was somewhat rude and dismissive. Overall , it was a pleasant experience and I look forward to staying in this hotel in future."
"We booked the rooms to be close to the hopsital. Perfect location for visiting family
Confy beds,
Just not enough towels in the family room,
Had to get a extra towel out of a relatives room
Other than that, it was a comfortable stay"
"We needed to be able to check in an hour earlier than stated as we had to get changed and travel to a wedding.
The staff were very helpful and allowed us . Result , we didn't have to get changed in the toilets at the venue and made it on time suited and booted 😂 "

I am 66 and my husband is72 so it was hard for us with health problems. "
"The property wasn't super clean, with a smell of cigarette smoke in the kitchen area. The bin didn't have a lid, so it didn't take long for the smell to spread and make the whole space smell really unpleasant. On arrival, with several big and heavy bags, we found that the lift was not working, and hadn't been for almost a year. Whilst the host may not have any power over the lift situation, they absolutely should have let us know in advance. The heater let out an annoying beep every few minutes which we couldn't seem to switch off so we just switched the heater off in the end! Also, the kitchen wasn't really sufficiently stocked - specifically, there were no knives so I couldn't prepare any vegetables to make dinners. The reason I booked this rather than a hotel was to be able to make food, but I couldn't do that. The room was nice and quiet and convenient access to the city centre with lots of shops including Morrisons next door, lots of places to eat and opposite the cathedral."
"We stayed in this location approximately two months. The location cannot be better. Right by the Blackburn Mall. Shops are incredibly convenient. Bus and train are right there as well. The manager is very friendly, but sometimes hard to get ahold of.Now, onto the negatives…First of all, the lift was broken. It had apparently been broken for over six months since we got there. Angry residence were leaving signs on the lift to beg for it to be fixed. The ceilings are probably 10 feet high, so you can imagine how many stairs you had to walk up just to get to the first floor. We were promised a washer and dryer combo, but the dryer did not function. We were told it would be replaced, but it never was. Instead, they just gave us a rack to dry our clothes on. This was after I had spent a lot of money at a Laundrette and had to demand some of that money back.It was mostly quiet, and the building next-door was empty, so there was no one there are making loud noises, but there were occasional parties in the building, and they were very noisy. There is absolutely no place to put your shower items inside the shower. Only outside. Also, the lighting is not adequate enough for shaving. Taking rubbish through the bins means walking through the entire building, which is huge.No key to the mailbox. Management said they did not have one. Finally, only two windows in the entire flat. Only one of them opened. The other was locked."
