"As a Cornell University graduate, it was a pleasure to stay at the luxurious and far-famed Statler Hotel. As expected nonetheless much appreciated, all was impeccable. The staff was exceptionally polite, friendly, and helpful. The one teensy thing I suggest adding is a night light for the bathroom. Getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom without light is a falling hazard. One doesn't want to turn on a bright light and a small dim light would be a great amenity. Everything else was fabulous."

"Wonderful place. Bathroom could be updated a bit and showed signs of age - as did the hallway. And I beg you to get more comfortable pillows. Those are minor grievances, though. Gorgeous view of the lake. Good sized rooms. Very helpful staff (and great folks at the winery). The comp tasting and bottle of wine were very appreciated. Looking forward to going back."
