"The hotel was loud, particularly on the first floor, as others reviewers described. One one side is a discotheque, on the other is the restaurant which was noisy and played music until at least 10pm every night. The wifi only worked in one of our two rooms. There was a pool, but it didn't look appealing. However, the included breakfast was good and the location was just a short walk from vehicle access and to the busy streets on the island."

"Great breakfast included, prepared fresh from limited menu. Nice bedding, good bed, bottled water replaced each day. Staff helpful and pleasant but seldom understand any English. Nice pool. Pleasant sitting areas overlooking lake Peten, however constant ‘mariache’ style music too loud all evening, made this less than pleasing. Short walk to shops, buses, tuck-tucks, boats. Nice stay but wouldn’t return to this country. "

"Small but clean room. It had hot water, good internet and there is a lot to do around the hotel. My room was the closest to the front desk so it could get a bit noisy at times but no noise really after 2100. It was less than a 5 minute walk from the shuttle that took me to Tikal and back to San Ignacio. I told the staff that I was catching an early shuttle for the sunrise at Tikal and they had a small lunch ready for me when I left the hotel that morning! I would like to visit Flores a little more at another time and I would gladly stay here again."
