"The host was readily available and answered texts promptly. She even gave me a personal demonstration on how to lock and unlock the door. The apartment is gorgeous, clean and very comfortable. All my needs were met. The view from the windows is serene and I enjoyed watching the sailboats and ferries. The walk along the promenade was flat with plenty benches to sit and enjoy people watching, along with the view. I did have several rainy days but proper outerwear solves that. The only concern I had was that I didn’t realize how many hills are in Gourock, including where the house is located. So, if you are without a car, as I was, be sure to use Barrhill Rd, and do not chance walking up Hillside from the bus stop! Also, the apartment is not handicap accessible as there is a fairly steep sidewalk and multiple steps."

Really tasty dinner (reservations recommended) and breakfast, both served in really impressive wood-panelled drawing room. I wouldn't hesitate to return here, really enjoyed the stay and would like to thank the team for their part in it."

Comfy bed but we found it very bright with street lights front and through the skylights at the back. It was quite wet when we stayed so we were inside more than normal, tv is in a very random location / high making it not too comfy for watching from the sofa. Goud value though for what we got, we'd stay again."

"Came back to this flat for second time as it had everything you need. There’s been a few changes made to it ie. new walk in shower which I think makes it more adult friendly. The stairs when you walk in the close are a bit tired and daunting to take suitcases up but still manageable. I had a chat with a couple of the neighbours and they’re really friendly. The location is perfect. All in all I’d stay here no problem again in the future as my wife and I really enjoyed our stay again."
