"Great adventure, kids liked it. Room is not perfect, and best for 2-3 people though 4-5 can sleep. We had a good stay. Staff is very friendly and accomodating, 5 stars for them. "

"A beautiful spot in the forest, although just a bit far from the sights in Nara. The staff was lovely and the room quite comfortable, by Western standards for a Japanese room (although the futons were by far the hardest and most uncomfortable of the three ryokans we visited). The meals lived up to the reviews, beautifully presented true kaiseki."

"The rooms were spacious, clean, and located within walking distance of a lot of the areas we wanted to visit. The staff were sooo nice and accommodating! They helped us with luggage transfers and were very polite and extremely helpful. We loved our stay here!"
