Fantastic house to explore the Lake District from!

The booking process was straightforward and we got all our questions answered in advance. On arrival we were warmly met by Roger and Jackson and given a whistle stop tour of all the operating elements of the house. We quickly settled in, with there being everything in the house to make it a home from home! We spent 3 nights at the house, cooking on 2 nights and ate out in Keswick one night. There was plenty of cooking equipment to do everything we needed. After a very wet climb up Scafell, all 4 of us were able to get everything dry in the house before a walk the following day. The views from the dining room are fantastic! It’s proximity from Keswick, and all of the most popular walks of the Lake District make it a perfect destination and we’ll certainly be coming back again. If you like big portions of food, you can’t go wrong with the Bank Tavern in Keswick ;)

        5/5 Excellent

          Will be back!

Have rented this beautiful house twice now and will definitely stay again. Good location for the town centre and very cosy inside. Our dog loves it too!

          5/5 Excellent

            very comfortable

Everything fine, a good break. The only note we would like to make is that the information folder be left out on the table. We didn't find it until the morning we left.
