We booked a last minute stay (literally booking hours before our arrival) and were very impressed. Right from the start communication was prompt and clear, check in was slick, great location for local walks and the room was very comfortable with a fabulous cooked breakfast served by extremely friendly and well mannered young people. A great family business and we look forward to staying again in the near future! Thank you for a wonderful stay ☺️

Beautiful, cozy place at the heart of breathtaking Lake District. A 2 miles walk/drive from the beginning of the ascend to Cat Bells, one of the most runout walking rout. The cottage itself offers everything you'd expect from an English B&B, friendly and helpful owners/stuff

Nice overnight stop
Comfortable warm room although not very big, good shower, tasty breakfast, free parking & a pub within easy walking distance. Some lights on the rear car park would be useful, it was a good thing we had a touch in the car. Breakfast times quite restricted.

Lovely place and great service.
Perfect for an overnight stay with my family. Rooms had everything we needed and we were provided with all the information required to make for a smooth arrival. Breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly and helpful. Pub down the road was equally as lovely. We will definitly be back.
