Glenmore Hewetson Court Keswick - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

  • Nestled on the shores of Derwentwater, Keswick is a popular market town with visitors to the Lake District. The main street is lined with shops including popular independent and high street favourite outdoor equipment shops. There are numerous tea rooms and cafes serving up delicious treats, and pubs and restaurants offering mouth watering meals washed down with a local ale. Keswick has 2 popular parks, Fitz Park and Hope Park both offering various activities including crazy golf and tennis. If golf is your thing, then golfers will delight in the Keswick Golf Course, with what is often described as the most scenic golf course in England.

    Being on the shores of the lake, you can meander down to the shoreline and enjoy a cruise around the lake taking in the majestic mountains towering above, or hire a row boat, try paddle boarding and other water sport based activities. The market town of Cockermouth and the popular Lake District village of Grasmere are both within a 15 minute drive, with Ambleside and Windermere within half an hours drive. Bassenthwaite Lake is 3 miles north with The Lake District Wildlife Park being a great day out for young and old.

    The first floor apartment is a modern, light and airy home from home heated with electric storage heaters. Living room with comfy seating, TV with Freeview and dining table. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The double bedroom has a comfy super king size bed. The small twin bedroom is best suited to children. Relax and ease tired muscles in the jacuzzi bath with shower over, the perfect end to a day on the fells.

    All electric and bed linen included (towels not available). Cot available. Private parking for 1 car. Shared use of the courtyard garden.
