"The location of the rental was great, peaceful and it included a stocked kitchen, bathroom amenities and balcony closet with outdoor gear. The rental is upstairs, so I recommend using bluetooth wireless earbuds or headset while watching tv during quiet hours (10PM - 8AM). Note you’ll receive important information through Vrbo, so make sure you’re able to receive notifications from the app. I would recommend consolidating and updating the rental information (links, attachments, binder at rental and some photos. Parking spot was would’ve been snug if I hadn’t rented a economy size car. I was asked to print and bring a copy of the parking pass, which took time to go get and cost 2.99 to print at UPS since I did not have a printer at home. There is a stack of printed parking permit papers in the basket on the counter top and in the binder with the rental information. Overall I enjoyed my stay."

"The property had a great location, and the pictures accurately reflected the room. The staff were responsive and took action when needed. However, it is important to keep Hawaii’s laid-back culture in mind when evaluating staff responses. Unfortunately, we encountered an issue with our room at 7th floor. At night, we found roaches in the kitchenette area, which was quite shocking. The next morning, when I informed the staff and requested a room change, they accommodated us immediately and moved us to another room with stunning ocean views, without hesitation or further inquiry. I also noticed larger roaches outside the rental property near the entrance, which I understand can be common in warmer climates like Hawaii. However, the staff’s somewhat nonchalant reaction—rather than surprise—when I reported roaches in the room made me feel that this might not have been an entirely unexpected occurrence. Why I leaving 3 stars here is purely because of the prompt action of the staff regardless and stunning views from the room. Kahana should ramp up with the cleanliness of ALL their rooms and I hope my experience remains an isolated incident. "

"The fleetwood house was such a dream to stay in during our visit to Maui! We traveled with my family of four, my parents, brother and his wife and there was more than enough room to spread out. The house was fully stocked with things we assumed it wouldn’t be such as spices, coffee, shower items, coolers to pack lunches for a beach day and even beach towels that we didn’t realize until the last day lol The hot tub and outdoor grill was a dream considering the rain we had the first few days and there was a power outage which Lauren communicated all the information with us effectively and were such wonderful hosts. If we ever travel back to Maui with a larger group we will definitely want to stay here again! The west side of the island is so peaceful with the calmest beaches and gives that quiet country feel. We loved it so much! Thank you for such a beautiful home! PS my parents really got a kick out of it being a former band member of Fleetwood Mac’s home, they just kept talking about it! "

"Three couples, all in our 60’s, had an amazing stay at the house and had plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed all the incredible views, especially the view from the den with the sliding glass doors open. We saw turtles on the beach, but didn’t get to enjoy the ocean in front of the house much due to the high surf all week. The location is great, being about half way between the beaches at Kapalua and Kaanapali. We would definitely stay there again."
