"Beautiful ocean views from 3 balconies, but balconies were dirty, covered with bird poop, and potted plants totally overgrown with 3 foot tall weeds obstructing ocean view from living room. Inside condo was clean. Overall, condo needs a bit of updating. Worked well for our party with kids and grandkids. "

"Okay i hardly make reviews or gripe about properties when I travel, but in this case I do feel like i have to warn other visitors. Watch out for the suprise mandatory cleaning fee. In addition there is the additional parking fee each night. Neither of these fees were stated when I booked the trip or in my paperwork. I was able to get the parking fee waived because the AC wasn't working at the property. Considering the humid weather this week, the cleaning fee should have been waived as well. I know different properties have different prices. I do have to mention my aunt stayed a block down had a better resort pool, didnt pay parking or a cleaning fee. Buyer beware- ask questions about fees when you book at this condo and shop around for more accommodating resorts. "

"The beach was beautiful. Beachfront and Oceanfront. Great value for your money. Fantastic for relaxing with a great view. Snorkeling opportunities right on the rocks. Saw fish and turtles. Had an oceanfront studio and had a great view! Saw whales in the distance breaching and playing. So serene. Room was cleaner and gorgeous! Very happy with this ch location. 45 minutes - 1 hour from airport depending on traffic. Right up the street from whalers village. Maybe about 2 miles. The rooms have stove, microwave, toaster, shampoo body wash, soap. Dish sponge and soap. Towels and beach towels provided. It’s a timeshare building but we booked our stay and it was great! "

"Clean, well-equipped, exactly as pictured. Wonderful layout for large groups. Close to shopping, restaurants, excursions and the gorgeous beaches that Kaanapali area has to offer. Full size laundry in the unit is a big plus. Host is easy to work with."

"We had a wonderful stay. Sands of Kahana is a great resort with excellent oceanfront views, a nicely located pool and hot tub and an on-site restaurant and bar. The condo was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Self-check was a smooth process. Definitely recommend!!"

"The staff was great! Easy check in. The grounds are gorgeous, the room was spacious and clean! Our hot water heater wasn’t working one night and we had a staff member up there to fix it within an hour. We loved that it was right by the beach and had captain jacks bar! We can’t wait to come back! "
