Beautiful Log Home on Quiet Private Lake

"If quite from the City living is what you need? This is the place. It is so serene and quite you hear yourself thinking. Fishing is good or just sit on the dock and enjoy more silence. Gary the host goes out of his way to ensure you have a good experience. Highlights for us were, fishing, seeing a family of loons go by us while on the dock, it was so amazing, star gazing with Gary and seeing his observatory was great since Gary has such knowledge of the Universe."

"This was our first glamping experience so we have no basis for comparison other than our expectations which were more than met.The sleeping tent, kitchen cabin, and lav facilities were all very good. The bed was comfy, the shower was nice and hot, and it's obviously not their fault we got some rain.There were little things like the toilet being overfull of ...waste... or the presence of a television in the images but no actual TV in the area that I'm not clear of those are normal so I write them off as part of a good experience overall.In general, we had a good time and our puppy had a blast. Very responsive to communications generally. Expect a few bucks for firewood but it's cheaper than in town. all in all, no complaints and we would go back to try Hillcrest"
