"The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was freshly cooked to order. However, there was no bar or restaurant in the hotel and apparently all the nearby bars in Jedburgh close at 8pm! Luckily there was a fantastic Italian restaurant opposite which was superb so we ate well."

"The service and the facilities of the room are outstanding comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing freshly cooked by heather who also takes your order. Good choice of cereal, fresh fruit yoghurt and toast. Then to follow a full cooked breakfast "

"The room was fantastic with a bay window high up overlooking the street. It was well furnished with a very comfortable bed and we had a great nights sleep. The only downside was the bathroom which was 'compact' (not really a problem) but the shower did not work well in that that it never got beyond just above cold and had a miserable trickle of water. We spoke to staff before leaving and they were appalled that this had happened and were going to get it looked at. Overall, very happy to stay there again."
