"We had a wonderful stay! The weather did not agree with our vacation as it rained most of the time, but the condo was awesome! We had everything we needed and more. Clean, nice, and fully stocked! We had 2 adult couples and had plenty of privacy for ourselves! The view from the Lani was phenomenal and definitely started our mornings off right. Many thanks to the hosts!"

"This is a great place to stay in North Kīhei. Even though this area can get windier at times, it is a great central place to stay on the west side of Maui. We were able to enjoy sight-seeing all over the island without spending too much time driving (even our starting point on the Shaka Guide app for the road to Hana was around 25-30 minutes away). There were many shopping centers and eateries that were only 5-15 minutes away as well. We have used VRBO for various vacations and I have to say that John and Darlene have one of the best equipped condos. I am an over packer and was even more so when it came to staying at their place. We had so many essentials such as staple kitchen and laundry items, beach equipment, toiletries, linens/towels, etc. The condo itself is very clean and perfectly decorated to give you that beach oasis feel. Be aware that the building itself is a little older. The elevator was down for a majority of our stay but this unit is in the 2nd floor so it wasn’t a huge inconvenience.Darlene is the main contact when it comes to communication and she is great about responding in a timely manner, especially once your stay has started. "Awesome stay. Love the location. Enjoyed the aquarium, pool, long walks on the beach are especially enjoyable. Beds are very comfortable. The condo has everything a person needs for a great vacation. "

"Aloha! This was a great centrally-located condo for exploring Maui. However, we were disappointed to see that the beach directly in front of the condo, as shown in the photos and highlighted in the advertised condo description, is no longer there, and even the stairs are long-gone. In order to access the beach, due to the eroded/washed out seashore and missing stairs, a 5-minute walk down the road and through a park is necessary. This was not difficult or unpleasant, but frustrating since we thought we would have direct access to the beautiful beach as pictured. The grounds of the condo are beautifully kept and very peaceful. The location is quiet, and many beautiful blooming flowers all around. Inside the condo, we were pleased with how well stocked everything was. However, the toaster was broken and we found the bedding in the secondary bedroom to be well-worn and old; both beds were very comfortable though! One of the ceiling fans stopped working, which increased the inside humidity, and there was only an AC in the living room, which did not help in the bedrooms. We could not find a fuse-box, likely locked inside a closet. Some of the beach chairs were very tired/broken and need to be replaced, but we were happy to have them to use during our outings. We struggled with ants in the kitchen, despite keeping everything very tidy, but that is somewhat expected in the tropics. However, additional cleaning products (wipe/spray) and a dish-drying rack would have been helpful. "

"We were right on the ocean actually it's a bay during the Hana low storm the waves were crashing into a retaining wall right in front of the condo shooting water straight up it was pretty crazy"

"Did not use Wi-Fi . A/C kept changing the temp up an down. Room was clean. The dishwasher did not want to start except on Heavy Duty, and the ran for 2 hrs. until I canx. it! Fridge was loud. We turned it OFF at night to avoid the noise. 3 knives in silverware drawer had the blades fall off the handle in our hand! Towel rod outside shower was starting to come off the wall. Lanai screen handle was coming off. Screw stripped. Other than the above, it was fairly comfortable."

"The unit is nice and clean. Well stocked except for bar ware. Unfortunately the direct deach access from the condos is permanently closed due to erosion of the bulkhead."

"We had a wonderful stay here, especially loving sitting on the lanai watching and photographing whales! The view of the mountains, water and beach is breathtaking. Listening to the waves as we fell asleep at night was so peaceful. The unit was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped for all our needs, and the washer/ dryer handy. The location on the beach is ideal, and also very convenient to many activities, shopping and restaurants and food trucks. The owner was very responsive to our questions. We’d definitely love to return! "
