This tranquil retreat was designed by a top interior designer with some of the nicest furnishings you will find on the island. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, lush tropical gardens and modern amenities like air conditioning, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher and ultrafast fiber optic WiFi for the fastest wifi on the island! Well-stocked chefs kitchen makes preparing meals a breeze! Serve your culinary delights with a side of paradise in a dining area with panoramic ocean views and a sliding door that opens up to the lanai. With 2 bathrooms featuring spa-like showers and ample plush towels this cozy escape is perfect for guests looking to unwind. Stunning panoramic ocean views from every room and the audible delights of ocean waves provide an immersive Hawaiian island experience. Dolphins, sea turtles & whales (Nov.-March) are all part of your never-ending views.

There are two comfortable and stylish bedrooms from which to choose. The first bedroom features wrap around panoramic ocean views, a Queen bed, air conditioning (A/C), ceiling fan, floor to ceiling blackout curtains, an en-suite private bathroom, large closet and a sliding screen door that leads out to the lanai. Freshening up is a joy in the well-appointed bathroom featuring a shower with handheld sprayer, soft towels, hairdryer, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) and other thoughtful travel amenities like sunscreen and bug repellant for your waterfall hikes and beach days.

All of the Big Island is rural and therefore can have the sounds of coqui frogs and roosters (they are wild throughout Hawaii) at night. Our retreat backs up to the ocean so most of these sounds will not bother you here.


Paradise Ocean Vista is perfectly centrally located to all of the best tourism destinations and beaches on the East side of the Big Island! We are less than 50 minutes from Volcanoes National Park and one of the closest oceanfront rentals to the volcano.

Beautiful House, Fantastic Location, Overall GorgeousThis house is located on the east coast of the big island of Hawaii, right on the east coast, a few feet away from the low lava cliff at the edge of the ocean. The east wall of the house is made of glass doors and windows looking out to the ocean. The east deck is furnished with table and chairs, and seats and couch, looking out to the ocean. The house feels light and bright, and large and open. The setup is simple and tasteful. It feels classy and stylish. We loved everything about this place from the deck facing the sea, the well-appointed kitchen, the large walk-in showers, to available laundry facilities. We did communicate to the host, he got back to us in a minute. Thanks.
