"All great - EXCEPT - after 10 hours of traveling, To Ha, the woman behind the front desk, kept us waiting half an hour to check in - when there were zero people on line or in front of her. While we were directed by the bellman to take a seat, she was on the phone, typing on her computer, and smiling and talking to any guest that came by with a question. When she finally got to us, she made us go through another 30 minutes of intake, including a sales pitch for an upsell. We travel a lot, and we have never experienced anything like this before. Certainly the last thing you'd expect in a pricey luxury resort. There was no attempt to make it up to us, with the room upgrade we'd been expecting, since we travel so often and Expedia puts us in the VIP category, or even perhaps a round of drinks by the pool, or something to take the sting out of this awful check-in experience. The capper was when we checked out, we asked for a 1-hour late checkout, and she couldn't even muster that. Other than her, all of staff were WONDERFUL. It's a lovely place."

"This is a beautiful home. We loved everything about it, especially the pool. We even had family pictures taken on the property bc we loved it so much. That's saying something when you're on such a beautiful island. We hope to return!! "

"Wonderfull neighborhood, nice and quiet area of Kauai. Close to beaches. Our host was wonderful, shared home grown mangos, and ocean caught fish. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed."

"Great place to stay on the “quiet side” of Kaua’i. Beautiful home right across the street from walkable quiet beach with the added plus of a great hot tub. Excellent proximity to Waimea Canyon and Koke’e state park for great hiking. Longer drive to north coast and Lihue/Poipu areas but for us the trade off was well worth it. Would definitely recommend."

"We had the most amazing week at this beautiful home. I have never rented a home that had everything you could ever need from the kitchen to every game and beach gear you could imagine. The process of renting, check in and checkout was extremely easy. Ning and Evan were very helpful with it all and made it effortless. They were very helpful in letting us know where to go for excursions, sightseeing, and groceries. We made many wonderful memories and will rent this house again!!"
