"Whole hotel looks like it was good 20 years ago and someone just forgot to do anything with it since. We booked a non smoking room but when we entered the room the smoke was so heavy I could taste it and there were burn marks all over the carpet. Stains in the carpet but bedlinnen and bathroom were clean. Personell was friendly...

"We had a very good night Sansuikan Kawayu Matsuya. They share hot springs and the restaurant with a nearby hotel. Hot springs are the absolute standout: fantastic! Food is good and plentiful. Our room had a brilliant view. All the rest is okay, although the exterior of the building is not nice."

"A great budget-friendly option — the hotel is a bit old but very clean. Conveniently located near the hot spring and several restaurants. One thing to note: the cottages are a separate facility from the main hotel, so guests staying in the cottages cannot dine in the hotel’s restaurant. This should be made clearer."
